  • how much!!!!???

  • THIS OR THE MARSHALL MG30FX?

  • i like when he freaks out at 5:10

  • Ok, this or a Marshall class 5 for playing in my bedroom and playing with a drum? the guitar is a epiphone les paul standard. I want to play Rock, Blues, Folk-rock , Metal, and Punk. please help me out of my terrible suffering!!! ;)

  • can it plug stright in to a recording device?

  • who else thought he was about to break out into cliffs of dover? lol

  • how much ohms dose the out put have

  • what strat model is paul using?

  • @iannyrockwell its a standard HSS im just not sure if its tex-mex or american.

  • Fenomenalt!

  • Yes i love this amp

  • only thing this amp is missing is a looper. I own this and its really awesome to play and sounds really good and is pedal friendly as well. :-)

  • How would this handle in drop tuning's? Because i was thinking of getting this amp because its cheep and it wont bug my girl as much as my Mesa XD btw i play in drop B to F

  • @xDanEsp noooooo

  • @NamelessSmile Haha dont worry i still got my mesa :)

  • doesn't it have a footswitch ?

to activate the FX effects or the overdrive?

  • Most of the listing for this amp say a 10" speaker. Is this a different model?

  • @ToweringFilth just checked oranges official page..its a 10" speaker

  • i have a line 6 spider IV 15R.....

what is better?.... the orange or my line6?

  • is this amp good for metal music?

  • 0:58

The Crush Pix35LDX has a 10" speaker. Not 12", as Paul has mentioned.

  • How much? Australian dollers if posible thanks? :)

  • Must. Have.

  • The solo at the beginning sounds like Cliffs of Dover

  • Which one is better, Orange CR35LDX or Marshall MG30FX? I play blues, rock and metal sometimes. I use Fender Strat

  • are you in a band?

  • What was the solo from 0:12 to 0:42 ... Thanks if you have an answer :P Also from 1:00 to about 1:22 ?

  • Comment removed

  • i tried this yesterday at GC...love the amp

  • 4:02 what effect is that?

  • @spadeflame8 I think is like an envelope!!

  • not tube :( ?

  • LOLOL.

Hes playing my dream guitar on my dream amp.

  • dude, you could totally use this amp for gigs. This amp is freakin LOUD. I had it at around 10 o' clock with gain and overdrive maxed, and it started to hurt my ears after a while. If someone says this amp shouldn't be used for gigs, they don't know what they're talking about. This amp is incredible

  • @HIMLSPRANGS comparing this to marshall mg and Line 6 spider jam,Which should I get?

  • @iannyrockwell Marshall's are amazing, but the MG's series sucks. Line 6 is a very digital sounding amp. This one is more like a ``real´´ sounding amp. I would go for this any day

  • @MetallicaFan4ever5 Thanks!!!!

  • @iannyrockwell It depends on your style. I love Line 6 amps, but this Orange Crush has an incredible tone and sound. It's very versatile and I love it to death. I'm thrilled that I bought this thing. And for only $250, it's well worth it. I love how i rarely need any FX pedals because the built in FX take care of my needs in almost every way. As it says on the manual coming right out of the box, "You have chosen to buy the coolest practice amp in the world" Orange is the best \m/

  • @HIMLSPRANGS Cool! Omg I'm so goona get this. This amp is good for classic rock till mordern rock sounds right? How about its overdrive when palm muting, does it really sounds like heaven? cause I'm looking for middle heavy palm muting sound , Prolly this amp is the best solid state around. I heard line 6 channels sounds will fade as time goes by..

  • @iannyrockwell Hell yeah, totally. I use this amp for full out shred metal. This thing can handle any style. the reverb FXs sound incredible. But yeah, Orange amps are pretty much the godfather of rock amps. I'm a heavy metal shredder and this amp fully suits my needs. You'll love this amp if you play rock. I've played everything from metal to rock to blues to jazz on this amp. This thing plays like a dream, that's all I really need to say. This amp is a prime example why Orange is so great

  • @HIMLSPRANGS ALRIGHT!!! Gonna get it next month then! Btw the 20r can plus the orange footswitch in? heard only the 35 can right?

  • The start sounded alot like cliffs of dover!

  • Is the reason this amp has an annoying choppy sound after a note ends because it's a solid state and not a tube?

  • Just a note: I haven't seen one of these, but all the online specs say this has a 10" speaker, not a 12"... still sounds great..

  • He plays an awesome lick on 3:46, check it out !

  • I kinda wish he used another guitar that's not a strat, they have a very unique sound.

  • That opening solo was SICK.

  • i have one its pretty awesome, you just play around with many tones

  • Would you say this is better than a line 6 spider III 30 w?

Please answer ASAP, cause i might buy it

  • @illeistheshizzle Line 6 spiders are lame.

  • @illeistheshizzle Yes, this orange beats line 6 spider imo, test both yourself and choose which one you like more ^^

  • 4:02 to 4:16 reminds me a bit of Frippertronics^^

  • what song is it in 3:47 ?

  • people need to wake up... get your asses off your chairs and go to the guitar store and listen to the amp with your own ears !!! this is recorded with a mic and than youtube completely fucks up the sound... you can't judge an amplifier on youtube. Its only to preview the controls

  • Dude did say 12" cab, it's 10" (matters), but this amp kills it every time with clean and metal. I record with it all the time.

  • im buying this, now

  • sounds like plastic shit

  • awful.

  • 12 or 10 inches?

  • @enthnd03 10 inches, just chek it on local store

  • I send my 5 pictures of a small gig to TotalGuitar magazine and now I might win this little rocker!

  • It's def. got the line6 30 watt beat. They released these like 3 weeks after I bought my line6 spider3 30 watt. I did get that amp for 115 new though.

  • does it take pedals?

  • so is this a tube amp?

  • I have owned this amp, and I must say that it was excellent, with the only other one as good being the new line of Vox VT + amps...which are astonishingly good too. Really, at low bedroom volumes, a really good solid state and a good valve will sound very similar due to the fact that valve amps sound better pushed! I love valve amps, but in the bedroom this or the vox VT40+ are more than enough!!

  • @BluePin75 Hi dude, one question, i wanto to get this amp, what do you think of the overdrive? i know that is rock not for metal, but sounds powerful and with body or thin... ? thanks.

  • That's it.....I'm gettin one!

  • Hahha:) 3:32!! I thought you started to play Yu Grupa - Crni Leptir!! :D

  • could this be used basically as a head by running it through a 2x12 cab? The dual terror is a bit expensive :'(

  • @BOBTHEHOBO1693 Yes you can because it has the line out option, and i believe if you run it through an external cab the speaker in the amp combo will still work, so you will even be louder.

  • @BOBTHEHOBO1693 i would go with jet city amps, they are tube and a good price, and have great tone.

  • is this a tube amp??

  • @jazzrockblues95 Hate to be a dick, but he clearly says "solid state" several times :p

  • Is there an amp like this that can be used for large Live performances, rather than just a practice amp? I absolutely LOVE the sound from this amp, but i'm afraid it won't make a good live performance amp?

  • @HIMLSPRANGS i bought this from guitar center yesterday and the guy said its loud enough to play over drums.

  • Just a passing thought, theres guitarists out there into a little known subgenre of music known as 'Metal' who might be interested in an amp.

Might pay off to do a little demo for them as well instead of blues all the time.

  • @MetalTillIDie461 Just buy a pedal.

  • This thing is great for small shows to to be honest. Everyone is impressed i have an orange, and its not too expensive either.

  • @dancingwithcalvin im kinda torn, because its got such nice cosmetics and a decent price, but i mean i want tube, but... to have an orange..

  • @dancingwithcalvin

Well i have had it for a few months now, And it does this thing were it starts to wistle when it gets to loud. And when I have my boss ds1 pedal plugged in it cant even keep up with the drummer. Im considering selling it and getting a vox tube head with a marshal cab..

  • What guitar is that? Can someone tell me?

  • @GSADL fender strat....

  • the big question i have about this amp is can it do system of a down style crunchy distortion withouta pedal?

  • With all due respect, you stated this amp was a 1x12. I believe its a 1x10, please correct me if im wrong.

  • @Godmysaviour11 I think you're right. It's 1x10.

  • He went from shredding to blues in like .045 seconds! Versatile amp, versatile player. Shit is epic...

  • I ordered one today! got it on Amazon for just $190 plus $18 shipping!

I CANT WAIT FOR IT TO GET HERE!

(too bad i cant play like this guy....all motivation to play is dead...)

  • i wish they would demo it without the mic so i can hear what it sounds like normally

  • IS 35 WATTS?

  • Hmmm, can this amp handle metal?

  • I love the effects on this amp...especially the effect at 3:35....MAN that sounds cool

  • @TheUsed707 I agree.

  • if u were looking at gettin a line 6 spider iv, this orange amp is soo much better. And just about $40 more. Very impressive IMO

  • i didnt even pay attention to the review part! holy shit he can play!!

  • Why is it necassary to shred all over an amp demo??? u cant even tell how it sounds!! salvaged by the effects section tho.... a marginally useful video

  • This this is an amazing value in bang for buck terms

  • can anyone help me? I have this amp and whenever I turn on the tuner the G lights up even before i've plugged the guitar in, when i do and play a string still nothing it just stays on G can anyone tell me how to fix this?

  • i'll be honest, for a practice amp...that thing sounds nice

  • Played one the other day. Was completely blown away, considering the spec's and the price point. Would recommend.

  • its actually a 10" speaker not 12.. i just checked on orangeamps.c o m just so people don't get mis-informed

  • Can you use this amp for metal? Can you put this amp on a clean setting then run some distortion pedals through it for metal?

  • @6Zach26 you could run distortion pedals through it easily but you might as well buy an amp designed for metal in the first place

  • @6Zach26 You can do that with any amp....

  • @NicolasMusic98 it is pretty good, i played it at a guitar center about 3 days ago...and honestly its the bang for the buck...

but out of the marshalls, orange pure tubes and all that...i prefered the Bugera Bc30-212, its a hybrid amp worth about 550$+, it plays anything under the sun (except black metal, and even then it might play that)...its definitly worth looking up

  • well...im definitly buying this

  • Is this enough to play with drums in pubs or small local??

  • @ArtPolo1990 deffiantley, i use one with my band and if you have a dist./OD pedal then you can turn the main volume to full, set the gain to a reasonable low level and crank the F*** out of the pedal - with the effects also ;D

  • this or the blackstar Ht1???

  • can this do a heavey metal sound?

  • his solo's riff's are all the same.

  • michael J. Fox really can play guitar

  • how about ORANGE Crush PiX CR20L - 20W?...is there any overdrive?

  • @ngorok88 yup i got that. its the same as this but no effects. its got overdrive and gain

  • @ngorok88 yup i got that. its the same as this but no effects. its got overdrive and gain

  • @ngorok88 yep

  • @ngorok88 There is an overdrive, but its not foot switchable.... It still smokes though!!!

  • i don't think that amp has a twelve inch speaker in it. because everywhere i have looked even on the orange amp site its only comes in 1x10". so were ever you got the twelve inch from let me know. because as far as i know it its only comes as a 35w and with a 10" speaker. but if im wrong anyone can tell me. because i just ordered one and it has the 10" kind of wish it had a 12"..

  • DOES IT HAVE CLEAN CHANEL?

  • Why isn't he in some famous band...THE MAN CAN PLAY. This seems like a good practice amp. Legit...might have to pick it up.

  • @ilivestrong25 Paul is the best, I love his reviewing style.

  • Is a 35w ?

  • I just realized that the reverb on your voice is being gated, probably through editing, but perhaps via an engineer that love Mr. Phil Fucking Collins. Also, I'm high, and listening through $2000 speakers.

  • hey can you connect this to a guitar cab thanks

  • @Oneill240Si – of course. It's digital.

  • hey man i got a question, is it normal for my amp when in overdrive be softer than my clean sound? Its like my amp goes softer when i hit the overdrive mode. any ideas? is it suppose to be like that?

  • putting serious thought into getting this amp.

  • its a 10 inch speaker, yo.

  • I could've sworn he was about to play Cliffs of Dover.

  • @LastWeekBear same here same here

  • @LastWeekBear hahaha :)

  • Comment removed

  • it sounds like a decent amp but id like to hear it without so much reverb.

  • Is this AMP able to sit on it?

  • @miszaszu SIT ON THIS

  • oh my god :o i want to play like that! but btw on that first little diddy he did there was like waaaay too much reverb lol

  • @tanks617

I have the amp and theres so much reverb available trust me its hard not too mess with it xD

  • @lufc550 i know what you mean man haha i have a bass amp with sooo much onboard distortion i can't help but crank it like all the time lmao

  • anyone know about the footswitch for overdrive or where i can buy it???

  • I'm getting this soon :/

  • @0Phantomcrest0 Its awesome :D

  • i have that same exact guitar with a white pick guard and knobs

  • Animal!

  • the start sounded ERIC JOHNSON like :L

  • @xmaxima1 hahah he cant play licensed music so he just improvised off of it :)

  • what are the name of the songs you're playin'???thanks

  • @44650227m its a lick pretty much inspired by Cliffs of Dover by Eric Johnson because he can't play licensed music he just improvised it but you should check it cliffs of dover its good.

  • @PenguinScape yep EJ all the way.

  • Always makes me giggle when I watch these vids. How can You review an amp and throw effects in between :D ?

  • @Maxush those effects are coming from the amp...

  • @LivetheHighestGrade what a dumbass hahaha

  • does this amp run on tubes or transistors

  • I want to buy amplifier but i don't know should i take the Marshall MG50 FX or Orange Amplifiers Crush PiX CR35LDX helpppppppppppppppppppppppp.....

  • @fitimshaqiri i have heard that the MG series sorta sucks, and this amp sounds great and has a little extra features, i'd go with this one. :D

  • @skatedude724 thanks

  • @fitimshaqiri Marshall MG's serie are f*cking bad. Buy the Orange, you'll be a better man.

  • @AnythingYouLike69 thanks

  • @AnythingYouLike69 lol yea, Marshall MG's are just like "HEY LOOK! IM AFFORDABLE, YET IM A MARSHALL! BUY ME PLZ!!"

  • ahaha. thought Cliffs of Dover was coming up in the intro.

  • hes showing a ton of cleavage in this vid... look at his shirt.

  • I have a 100w marshall cab sitting around, can I plug this into that since it has a line out? if anyone knows, please let me know!

  • @oprahdidntdie4ursins i think thats what he siad, you can use it like a head. i hope so to because thats what i plan to do with this amp.

  • Nice amp... perfect demo!

  • Is this tube? Are any orange combos running on tubes?

  • @RAASUW

I believe its just the crush series thats solid state, the rest are tube

  • @RAASUW As far as i know this isn't a tube amp. The Tiny Terror combo runs on a tube :)

  • Doesn't do anything for me in this demo. That new Orange pedal from Tech 21 sounds a million times more like a big Orange tube amp than this.

  • How Many Pedals Can You Get In It

  • Still sounds good if I use a guitar not as good as this fender??

Sound good to use in live performance using the line out or a mic??

  • Is this amp loud enough for band practices and live shows?
