  • when he say sometimes sounds scary :)

  • I've contemplated becoming a postal carrier. I can be like Newman!

  • "sometimes" lmfao

  • Canada Post strike explained

  • @mmadigest someone should tell Canada post they are lucky to have this job because nobody really needs mail. If I want to pay the bills I let the bank pay e'm and if I want to send cards or letters I can do it through E-mail, telephones, fax machines. Fedex, telex, telegrams, holograms.

  • That's how it feels at my job.

  • "and it's publishers clearing house day!"

    lmao!!!!!!!

  • In my book....Newman is one of top 10 best reoccurring characters in television history

  • lol Newman is the best xD

  • Sorry I accidentally clicked flag:(

  • Newman should've had a Spinoff! LMFAO

  • Newman is great!

  • .... and then the barcode reader breaks and Publishers Clearing House day!!

  • I'll tell you a little secret about zip codes... they're meaningless!

  • i love how he puts so much emphasis when he says "sometimes" like he's given some thought of doing it

  • i love it when Newman goes on and on and someone has to yell at him to stop, lol

  • Newman was going to collapse if he didn't stop. LOL

  • George: "Aren't those the guys that always go crazy and come back with a gun and shoot everybody?"

Newman: (In a very serious tone)..."Sometimes"

Newman is just fantastic here! Jerry can barely keep from laughing. Ha ha!

  • FAVOURITE

  • :o

    Sometimes

  • i can see newman doing something like this newman is nuts

  • my father works at a postal office...it's true :(

  • hihihihihihhiii love it :)

  • Anybody whos worked at any mail related job knows Newman's pain!

  • Newman should starr in the postal game. lol

  • JERRY: Hey, I've been trying to jam stuff in the box, like you told me, but sometimes it says, like, "Photographs - Do not bend".

NEWMAN: "Do not bend". (Laughs) Just crease, crumple, cram.. you'll do fine.

  • This is Sooooooo relatable- I was a courier for Aust Post- Just what Newman says- Because the mail never stops. It just keeps coming and coming and coming. There's never a letup, It's relentless. Every day it piles up more and more, but the more you get out, the more it keeps coming. And then the bar code reader breaks. And then it's 'Mother's Day- The Mother of all Mail Run's!!!' It's so true- I kicked in the back of my van around Xmas cause the door wouldn't open. F&^%ing Mail!!

  • funny shit.. lol.

  • Newman....so hilarious...."it just keeps coming and coming!!!"

Except the bar code sorter never breaks.

  • And then it's Publishers Clearinghouse day!

  • HAhahaah

  • I stock shelves and I feel Newman's pain.

    There's never a let up. It's relentless.

  • This from an episode called The Old Man, the 18th epsiode of Season 4.

I love Newman's rants - most off the characters in Seinfeld are flawed to say the least but only Newman is a seriously disturbed individual!

  • Because its Publisher's Clearing House Daaaay!

    ROFL

  • "Because the mail keeps COMING AND COMING AND COMING!" I lost it there XD

  • Don't those people go crazy and kill people

    some time

    LOL

  • "Because the mail never stops."

    I love Newman!

  • LOL. So funny, yet so true. Oooops, time to get back to work. DOIS showing me with undertime.

  • Newman is the Key...

  • Newman ROCKS!

  • Thanks for saying so. One guy got Fibromyalgia and they did fire him cause he only had worked there four years. I WAS lucky, they knew I wasn't faking. In Sep 1999 while deciding if to go on disability, I herniated neck discs so bad they had to give me shots in discs/spine...they punctured the damn spinal dura and it was a fantastic nightmare of five years of pain after. If there is one thing I could tell folks, pace yourself and save all your sick days and money you can. Luckily I did. ;@)

  • I suppose I should have mentioned it was 1989-1994 or when DPS had not made it to our city yet. Six hours casing was like for days after holidays. I was one of the fastest guys until time slowed my body down. I left in 1999 with six partial bulging discs, 2 degenerated discs and bone spurs galore had to go on disability retirement at the age of 40. When DPS came in they warned the bosses injuries would take over and sure enough they did. OH well, your right, I am sure slooow now. :@|

  • lmao bc the mail never stops

one of my fav seinfeld scenes

  • .....Sometimes. lol

  • newman is so freaking funny and boy is wayne knight a good actor

  • As a former Ten year letter Carrier, every word of this rings true. I remember six hour bouts of casing mail after holidays or long weekends. Then when returning to the office, even more was sitting there for next day. Spurs, bad management, stupid people, samples like Tampons, cereal boxes, toothpaste and mouthwash was enough to make us POSTAL! I have some stories on my(link on my channel page) Yahoo360 page too under "Going Postal" blog. Yes, Neuman is hilarious. :@)

  • yea wayne knight is one hell of a actor....

  • This is one of my favourite Newman scenes!

    Jerry: Why is that?

Newman; Because the mail never stops.....Because the mail never stops. It just keeps coming and coming. Piles of it, more and more! And you have to put it all out, but the more you put it out, the more it keeps coming in! And then the barcode reader breaks! And it's Publishers Clearing House Day!

  • Season 4's The Old Man

  • It's not from Season 4. It's from Season 1 or 2. I know, I don't have Season 4 and I saw this episode. I just can't remember which one it is.

  • its for sure not 1 or 2, he didnt even make his first appearance in season 4 or so. but its later i guess 5 or 6.

  • Oh. Well...I thought it was. I don't really remember. I have memory problem, lol!

All I know for sure is that this scene is funny!

  • i think it is season 4, the episode called "the old man".....or something like that. The show where they volunteer to spend time with senior citizens and they steal the records from the old guy. I am sure this was not newmans first episode.

  • You're right. His first episode was "The Suicide."

  • what season and episode number is this?

  • lmao, newman was always awsome on this show
