  • I bought a roll of Linqstat, probably because of this video and used it to mod my power supply in hopes of decreasing EMF noise.

  • what the hell is a linqstat? don't you have anyting better to do in your life?

  • It's the "bonding to wood" that I am not sure about. There is no reason you couldn't bond 6 layers of LINQSTAT together, but the limitation would likely be the laminating machine. 6 layers would require an external heat source (though an iron would do fine).

We do carry 8mil (0.2mm) thick linqstat conductive plastic rolls. We have them in stock and sell them:

    a) By the 36" roll

    b) By the meter

Links to these are in the video description

    CAPLINQ

  • Can you bond 6 layers of Linqstat to say wood? I use Velostat to shield for EMF sensitivity but loose sheets are rather inconvenient. It seems you need about 6 layers to block 99% of emf noise. I use velostat since it is high absorbency, low reflectivity and doesn't require grounding.

How does one order a spool? (I wish I could just order it 25 mm thick, that would be the easiest, LOL)

  • @godshiva HAH! I mean 25 mil thick - 25 mm thick would be insane

  • @godshiva yup, 25mm (almost an inch) would be very thick!

  • You're going to make a Thought Screen Hat aren't you. LOL

  • Well, we are the manufacturer, so yes, I must admit we have ALSO sold this product for thought screen helmets.

But the most common use of this LINQSTAT material is to make position sensors and pressure sensors.
