This kind of makes sense. The reason I say that is because Africa used to be called upper and lower Egypt. What I always thought was weird was the fact that upper Egypt was to the South and lower Egypt was to the North. If the poles were reversed before, this would explain my confusion.

We are long overdue for a shift in the magnetic poles. Since I was a child I have pondered this, and it would be exciting to see what would occur. But I do not believe that Religion holds all the answers as it is a product of human culture.
It will shift suddenly and drastically due to a gravitational push in the opposite direction in which the earth rotates. As the earth tries to correct its rotation it will flip slightly as it resumes it's natural spin. 10% of humanity will survive and 60% of maps need to be redrawn.
It won't be the first time, either. This is a natural earth change.
The poles have been shfting long before Humans ever existed and will keep shifting long after we;re gone. Dreaming anything you like is good but the delusion of it affecting polar shifts is deluded. Something to research, from an historic perspective, volcanic and adverse weather occures every 100 and to a lesser extent at 150 year periods.
We enter a 100 year cycle in Nov 2002 on cue.
What has happened this past 3 years is unusual in my opinion.
Go to your local Record Office and look into the years 1802, 1902, 2002 !

Even if it were to reverse the process takes millennia to complete and poses no threat to us other than the fact we'll have to use something other than a compass for navigation.

Yes, the magnetic pole in the north is currently moving at 40 mph. It can change direction at any time. It was moving at 30mph ten years ago. It's always been moving. When geologists say sudden pole reversal, sudden means about 5000 years. So dream nice things for 5000 years and try to save the planet if you want to. Instead, I'll believe the poles move because the current created by the movement within the earth's core is the source of the magnetism and what I dream about won't affect it.

This kind of makes sense. The reason I say that is because Africa used to be called upper and lower Egypt. What I always thought was weird was the fact that upper Egypt was to the South and lower Egypt was to the North. If the poles were reversed before, this would explain my confusion.

It will shift suddenly and drastically due to a gravitational push in the opposite direction in which the earth rotates. As the earth tries to correct its rotation it will flip slightly as it resumes it's natural spin. 10% of humanity will survive and 60% of maps need to be redrawn.
It won't be the first time, either. This is a natural earth change.
