This was great fred tells the story, I played Gretsch drums and had a 1961-1962 set that was midnight blue I wish I had them back.

I have had a love affair with Gretsch guitars from the moment I saw my two guitar heros Chet Atkins and Duane Eddy playing them when I was a young boy.

I was so happy when Fred Gretsch purchased the Gretsch name back from Baldwin and started to build quality guitars again.

I believe the Gretsch guitars being built today are the best they have ever been even surpassing the gems of the 50s & 60s. I own two modern Gretsch guitars; a G5125 Electromatic and G6120DC Chet Atkins Nashville.
