The quality of this video is impeccable, and with a high-quality sound system like the one on my computer, it's even better! Jolly good show lad! (lol, im trying to make this sound British! :P)
@13WhiteFang37 It's running on the Northeast Corridor from Boston to Washington D.C. The Acela can go at 150 full throttle, but it is only allwed to go 125 at its max on the NEC.
I posted this over a year ago i didnt know what i was tlaking about lol. i know that america haves a fast train but not a bullet train. but i heard obama is trying to put a bullett train in america anyway.
Technically speaking the ACELA is a High speed train "bullet train" however it can only go at high speed 150mph in small sections, the problem with the ACELA is it HAS to SHARE tracks with slower trains. In Japan fast trains only share tracks with other fast trains, slower trains have their own tracks. The same is in Europe. California wants high speed rail (aka bullet trains), for the US to work, it needs High speed tracks for high speed trains only, and slow tracks for slow trains.
The fastest trains in Britain are the Eurostar( 186mph), the Javelins on Kent services( 140mph), and our other Inter City rail routes are 110-125 mph. However, there are plans to build a 186 mph rail link between London and the North.

The Acela only goes up to 150mph for only a short distance. No where near 200 mph.
