My high school choir sang this and recorded it the year I graduated, and I never got a copy of the CD so I'm so happy I found this! I finally have something to sing along to. It was my favourite song we did, I've never forgotten a word of it since.

OMG, I was part of the Fort Wayne Children's Choir once... Then I moved. I was in third grade and if I'm in sixth grade now, that's 3 years ago. My best friend and I still laugh about the horrid, itchy vests! We sang Around Her Neck She Wore A Yellow Ribbon once and for warm up we did the "Great big house in New Orleans, 40 stories high, every room that I've been in is filled with pumpkin me!" So yeah... Good times, good times.

I remember doing this in Grade 9 with a 2000 voice choir in Toronto "The joy of Singing within the noise of the world" it was great. I loved the piece so much that in Grade 12 I arranged the whole piece for a full band, and chorus for our finale school concert!

Gosh, my music teacher told me this is a university level chior. D: And were only in junior high. She thinks were totally up for this. Haha, this chior is really good. Except they are pronouncing some of the african words wrong.

omg i didnt know this piece was so popular! i performed it last night in NH with Paul Halley directing, his son on percussion, myself on organ, then some other people on the other instruments. it was soooo cool. i had to sightread it... so i had never heard it before!! but i love this piece so much :)

I'm in the Fort Wayne Children's Choir, and I have been for 5 years. I am currently in the Concert Choir with Mr. Fred Meads as my director, and I am exremely happy with this performance! We did extremely well with this choir, and I give it 5/5!
