Możliwe i nawet do mnie to przemawia, ale gdyby było że obróciłem się w kamień to cały refren byłby o nim. Poza tym nawet jeżeli już to ja obróciłem to kamień. Z drugiej strony to frazeologizm i czasownik modlany, chyba nie musi występować, ale nie jestem tego taki pewien. Generalnie składniowo by się zgadzała Twoja wersja.
