  • 1:14 O_O Brilliant!

  • Magical, absolutely magically breathtaking...Andrew Bird's music is one masterpiece after another...Thank you for posting and thank you Mr. Bird.

  • Gah his music is so complicated and intricate I can only dream of ever creating anything as amazing as this.

  • I have to say, in my opinion, this holds nothing on the live performance they did of the song here v=_DIJWH3Y7xo

  • "like" doesnt even begin to describe how I feel about this piece. Wow! A breath of FRESH air...... and beyond. Thank-you Andrew Bird - just heard you very recently!!!

  • lovely~ a thing of beauty.......

  • lovely~

  • amazing that anyone can understand what Andrew Bird is singing/saying. frankly, i think you all peeked at his CD lyric sheet first.

  • I love the strings!!

  • @travelswithbear I said this song was much more enjoyable, not better. Of course I love radiohead (who doesn't?!) but andrew bird is more my style

  • i wonder how much tail he gets

  • towards the end when you hear more of the clapping beat, it reminds me of radiohead's "15 step," but of course, much more enjoyable just because it's andrew bird and he is lovely :)

  • @kaylashalaylaaaaa

i fail to see how this song is better than 15 step. different, but not better

  • @kaylashalaylaaaaa They are both very cool songs. 15 Step is one of my favorite songs by radiohead. Of course part of what makes it so awesome is that it is in 5/4. This obviously is not , but it is awesome in its own way with all of its polyrythms and everything that Bird does right.

  • @jawii42 mmhmmmm completely completely attest to everything you just said

  • good to sleep

  • This makes me think and feel many things

  • Hearing Mr. Bird perform "Plastcities" on Letterman got me hooked. Have been a fan ever since. Great to hear some sweet new music. Very easy to lounge and groove to.

  • such an amazing song!!

  • sounds a bit like Jeff Buckley. wonderful

  • My oh my. The level of sonority and sense of longing I feel when listening to this track is hardly measurable. I'm taken on a journey, lost, and then given a false sense of resolution - only to cycle around again as the track begins anew. Endless.

  • Hey you should write for Pitchfork. Oh wait, you're not a prick.

  • @OpheliaImmortal Thanks for the compliment! You are so kind.

  • @OhNoItsGojira One of the most depressing comments I've ever seen, bravo.

  • the first minute was the best part...

  • LOVE IT

  • He whistles awesome, I can't believe

  • I was entirely unfamiliar with Andrew Bird until hearing this song, and I must say, it's really gorgeous.

  • best track off the new album

  • i agree !!!!!

  • Love his new album!
