@maellin02 that's natural harmonics, you place your finger on the string, but a bit only, and when you pick it you get a pretty good sound, but you have to practice it, it isn't very easy, Trace does it with only one hand

yeah, you're right. maybe not every pull off, but yes there is an element of pulling down with the finger as a way of getting a bit of volume.

Well I have another question...I think there's a part in this song that need to tap near sound hold of guitar with right hand ? ( at the point of 3 min 47 second ) And you didn't do it in your clip ?. Could you explain how to do it...? ( tapping near sound hole of guitar)

i'm not sure what part you mean. there is a normal harmonic note around that time, but other than that i'm not sure what you could mean. is it the harmonic you mean?

i watched the trace bundy version to see what you mean. he's just tapping the side of the palm of his hand near the edge of the strings. don't really know why i didn't do it and i don't know if i can explain any better how to do it. it's basically just tapping that part of your hand onto the strings. you should try practicing it until you get it. hop;e that helps in some way.

i did practice this song on my nylon string guitar so it should possible for you to play it on your classical. practice makes perfect. tho i suppose each guitar is different & it's possible your isn't really suitable for tapping. try going to a guitar shop & testing the tapping on another guitar. if it still isn't working, it's your technique, if it does work, it's your guitar that's the problem.

it's not just how hard you hammer on that creates the volume, but also how you pull your fingers off. trust me, keep practicing & you'll get it.

it's capo'd on the 2nd fret. the tuning is called DADGAD & thats how its tuned. i.e. low "E" is "D" "A" is "A" etc.

its done with an acoustic guitar plugged directly into the pc. thats why it sounds a little bit like an electric.

hey man really good your speed really helps when learning the song. One sugestion on your technique though, you seem to have a problem using your pinky. If you use it a little more its going to make it so much easier for you to play fast songs and try to use a bit more dynamics and expression. Otherwise great job

this video was done with a webcam and a fender acoustic plugged straight into the pc. my other acoustic were just played with an acoustic and using the inbuilt mic on a video camera.

i spent maybe an hour an night for it & it took me a good while to be able to play it start to finish without mistakes. don't worry, just keep practicing & you'll get there in the end. its worth it! once you've got it, other songs will be easier to learn and in turn you'll get better faster.

mostly you would use your right hand for all the bass notes, but not all. i'd advise you to watch the video & try and remember which hand i use for each part. let me know if you've any more problems
