With respect, what Nick Cave feels may not be anywhere near the same as John Galantini feels. John Galantini is just projecting whatever is going on with himself.
Nick Cave comes across as a depressive who's sorted out a really functional way to deal with that whilst maintaining the integrity of his personality. I find that both interesting and inspiring.
When he talks about starting all over again it seems to me that he might be re-discovering his identity without allowing any kind of outside influence. Also, through all his creative efforts that he's known for and probably not known for, I think he is on a sort of quest to protect his identity from becoming corroded by the lies of life. I really appreciate that he tries to remain unspoiled in his identity. I hope he finds the grace he desires.
As a song writer myself, hearing that from the likes of Nick Cave is SOOOOOO reassuring. MY GOD! I feel like for once, someone compeletely understands my frustrations. I have endured a writers block for about a year and within the last week I am getting everything back again... just like he's saying. Lots of songs at once...
Yes, I am amazed after this many years at what an Authentic person he is. He is down to earth and wonderful actually. Just wondering what happened to Mick Harvey with the orchestration? Been awhile, so not knowing...
nick cave kills at least 600 people a day, usually with his bare hands. he is the only singer/songwriter to have a UN treaty banning his use in warfare
The interviewer might not have been the most entustiatic ever, but he had good and well formulated questions... I found the interview interesting... but maybe not that entertaining ;)
And its the same with pictures. The white sheet of paper can be very intimidating..When there are a few lines drawn -its not that intimidating any more........
Ahhh - very philosophical, isn´t he? He probably wont admit and say its just talking about life..
BUT its just what I´ve been thinking over the last cuple of days. (rather keep doing things regulary than having to start again.)
its the same in sports and art. If I go fur a run..I have to wait the first minutes for the "I can not run another 30 minutes" - voices to go away. One has to get beyong that point of doubt.

So this what whichever interviewer meant when he said that Nick is "terrifying but always polite."

LOL! With Blixa Bargeld too, you can always date videos by his hair/weight/fashion choices.

he's just a very authentic person, it may be the reason for his creative work - being who you really are and listenig to your inner voice

is it just me or does the interviewer sound a bit like some sort of nazi interregator from Bond or Indiana Jones?

( lol) The cameraman is a doofus. He shouldn't have moved and called attention to himself in the middle of the interview.

Maybe he's more relaxed in his own surroundings. which would make for a better interview i guess.

Could anybody explain why this video keeps getting spammed by fake women with webcams?
STUMM123 4 years ago 6
Perhaps Nick Cave is big in the webcam underground. My MySpace seems to be the greatest thing since sliced bread to these ppl...
