  • God bless! Brilliant. And a house for a few thousand. So, what's so good about modern life? It seems like it was all slower back then.

  • best part about this is the fretless bass but where is the bass player on here? waah waah...please don't tell me the bass was done on the synth?

  • 80's but nice ;-)

  • @iman4d - Saw them last night at the O2 in Sheffield. Absolutely amazing. Catch them on this tour if you can, you won't be disappointed.

  • So good. Like come on. Lush, textured and innocent. Brilliant.

  • @jezzyby47 its 1983 not 82 you got that wrong as well

  • @dermot51 - As well as what? If it is 1983, it's before August of that year cos that's when i got my polysix.

  • Yes I loved the Prophet 5 as well! everyone used them from Gary Numan to Duran Duran back then! I got a Roland Juno 60 a few years back now Im down to a JX-3p & D-10! still got a kork 01w/fd & a Ensoniq EPS-16+, Im hoping my son takes them up as it would be a waste! kids now a days don't know how lucky they are!

  • Very under rated band, I remember seeing this video on TOTP way back them, poor you paying £850 for keyboard but my god they were all expensive back them! I wanted a Oberheim OB-Xa! No chance! Kids have it easy now thats for sure!

  • @dunx1964 - I wanted a Prophet 5 but that was £1500 and i couldn't afford that so i got the polysix. Oberheims were in the £3500 range weren't they? That's about £40,000 at todays prices!!! - and there's a software version of that too for about £100. Some of those old analogues still hold there value well though.

  • @jezzyby47 jupiter 8 was my synth of choice - no chance though!

  • @jezzyby47 jupiter 8 was my synth of choice - no chance though! - oh yeah , can be seen on blancmaunge blind vision

  • Atmospheric. One of my favourites. Nice story about the Polysix.

  • somebody knows the notes of the keyboard?

  • Thanks for posting this video. This is a fantastic song. It didn't make the top 10 but then again the charts were very strong in the early 1980s.

  • Jezzyby47, you say that kids today have never had it so good, well I don't think so really. Music was far superior back then and also the fact that you could actually buy a house on average earnings back then without both partners needing to work a lifetime to pay the bankers. You are right to a certain extent with the software synths although real analogue is still far superior in terms of sound.

  • Got this and H20 records, class act for there time..

  • Love this song from C-C The best song ever love it 100%. If yous like this song try H2O dreaming its also 100%

  • jesus i rember watching this on totps in 83 when i was about 15 or 16 yrs its still as good now as it was then
