I generally dislike mads, but damn. The vidya fit the song really well, and they even managed to throw in a flash of OldAkagi (GARkagi?) in there. Truly great.

This video has some of the greatest comments ever. Both a relief and a pity it hasn't seen much action in a long time. They should be preserved somewhere.

As for the video itself, I thought the part where it was flashing through all the "still images" like in Evangelion's opening animation was really cool. Though now having seen both, I can confidently state that Akagi was the better series.
