  • Man! Everyone who played in this song is truly a world-class artist! The pianist, the bongo player, the drummer and all the guitarists felt the song in their blood. You gotta be that genuine to play a GKs song. Thanks for posting!

  • No way! It's a fusion of Flame and Jazz? Gotta love how the keyboarder played -- almost as explosive as Tonino's guitar lines. Bravo!

  • What? A fusion of Jazz Piano and Flaming-O? Oy! It's a breath of fresh air to Jazz.

  • this perfomance was in uk

  • one of the last surviving world class bands. No good music came after 1999.

  • VIVA ESPANHA, I LOVE GIPSY KINGS

  • But they're not "Spanish", they're French...

  • Catalan gipsies)

  • whatever

  • On flamenco guitars, its called a tap plate, or golpedor. It is one piece that goes above and below the sound hole to protect the guitars finish from doing "golpe's" (proper terminology for the rythmic tapping done with the nail while playing)

  • What's the thing under their soundhole???? The plastic thing :S

  • its a customized sound hole cover to reduce feedback and get more from the pickups. flamenco guitar sound holes are smaller than acoustic ones so standardized covers dont work. i had to make my own for my alhambra thin-body

  • That piano is not good in this music.

  • It is not piano it is synth :P and yeah it is kind of out of course :P

  • Impressive, the Tonino´s rythm is wonderful... GKs are great musicians....

  • Why did they decided to make a DVD on that Stage? That's too far from people, there are tons of stages to choose from where they could have been closer to the audience.

  • Maybe they didn't want crowd noise to interrupt the audio.

  • I think this performance is in Canada (i think i saw some1 commenting it and saying). They are an awsome band, there sound is unbelievable!!

  • no its not canada its in london. their manager at the beginning says "good evening london"

  • woops my bad ^^

  • @morgoth199 yes mi amigo es en london , kendwood

  • he can and he does...and brilliantly. Pity you haven't heard...

  • what performance is this? Kenwood?? can't tell.. [usually the backup band lineup helps... lol] this version is tamer compared to other versions of it, but Tonino is just a genius... do you guys realize that all their instrumentals are coming from his brain???! ay!

  • I love it how Tonino is calm and relaxed, it relaxes the listener as well

  • Woa! the link to Tonino's Bulerias is the very first related video to this one, how could you miss that?

  • Also why don't you go on tour every year and play to thousands of fans and then you can tell us what real Flamenco is...the only living person who can talk about what is real or not in Flamenco is Paco De Lucia and he is the first one to break the rules, go figure, are you Paco?

  • ... and don't forget, when PdL sprinkled in jazz back in the day, all the puros scoffed and said flamenco was compromised, but what Paco did was bring about the genres evolution, and now he's pretty much the final word. Amazing what time, truth & and an open mind will do, btw... Tonino RULES! lol

  • There are countless more flamenco guitarists than Paco, and many of them are considered to be more "pure" in their interpretations of flamenco than Paco. Look into Gerardo Nunez, Tomatito, and Vicente Amigo for starters.

  • Ferminreyesjr.

How ignorant are you? or are you just talking shit for the sake of it?

There is a full Buleria in this same concert, and they have played Fandangos too and you obviously have not heard the GK album, there's

    tremolo and alzapua in there.

But then again if you knew what you were talking aboout you would know that the Rumbas are cosidered a "Palo Menor" and are part of the Flamenco Tree, get informed before trashing one of the best known players on the planet.

  • Flamenco or not flamenco! Finish it, please! Ah, look Nanasso Baliardo in "Sentimiento"....that´s cool!

  • What is the name of composition??? It's amazing!!!

  • Tampa

  • yah, true, but remember, theyre french, not spanish. but he plays fandangos pretty well

  • Parece que Canut no si agradó del nuevo integrante de los Gipsies (creo que su primo, no se su nombre) lo miró muy duramente en el medio del show...

  • el mejor grande Tonino

  • Professional!

  • He ahí a un MAESTRO guitarrista

  • Just Wow. Really very moving tune. It brings me back to my childhood and to the good times. This is one of the rarest tunes that u start listening with all emotions to. Wow Wow! Really deserves five stars!

  • These are REAL MUSICIANS and not MEDIOCRE artists.

  • GRACIAS POR EL VIDEO!!! Truly thanx Morgoth!!!

  • harikasınız gipsy kings!!!!!!!!!
