  • people dislike this video hate america

  • @braclfyerbowie Yeah there's two of 'em who dislike this. You don't suppose maybe-just maybe-they now living in the White House do you? That thought hasn't ocurred just to me either.

  • @braclfyerbowie As I said earlier: You don't suppose they now currently reside in the White House do you? Those two dislikes. After all our "wonderful, terrific First Lady " has ALREADY gone on record saying Americans were mean-spirited. Also known as the person who took the ' Happy' out of Happy Meal. She's such a joke.Made up jobs like the one at the U. of Chicago.Madam Mao Michelle but she's nothing compared to Barry Che Obama and his band of thugs-starting w/Eric Holder and Valerie Jarrett.

  • There will be no other man like Ronald Reagan! He was a man of conviction, of hope and of courage under great adversity and hatred amongst this liberal media! And yet, he took everything they threw at him, and he beat them back with his unforgettable intelligence and humor! There will never be another President that will honor the soldiers like President Reagan did. I only wish that this crop of silly and at times, childish Republicans GROW UP, GET A SPINE, AND FOLLOW REAGAN'S LEAD!

  • How can one not tear up when they see this wonderful tribute to the brave men who fought in the D-Day invasion ? God bless them all.

  • I'd give anything to once again have a president with his convictions, stature, and love of country.

  • Courage was part & parcel of the greatest generation.

  • OH HOW I MISS THIS MAN SO MUCH. Oh God of all ages past. Bring us another Ronald Reagan.

  • The 2 people who disliked this video are "OSAMA BIN LADEN, and, BARAK OBAMA"

  • @SuperThunderlips: You are aware that Bin Laden is dead, right? Moron.

  • @majesticlizard, think your the moron. If you look at his post it was two months ago, before that happened.

  • @majesticlizard I'm sorry I guess I'm not psychic because I wrote that comment 2 MONTHS AGO!!!!!!!!! Now dont ever fuckin talk shit to me again you piece of liberal scum........Now go home and get your fuckin shinebox!!!!! What a freakin reject.

  • President Reagan was a republican, but he was never an extremist like the wacko that followed, namely the Bushes.. he united the nation and could have never been elected governor of California had he been on the far right.

  • At 1:53, you see the emotion that PR had during his speech. When is the last time you seen this emotion during a Presidential speech.....its been a long time. The last time I saw it was President Bush's speaking at PR funeral. God Bless you brave men on DDay

  • @adcnortty at the end of his two terms in office, Ronald Reagan viewed with satisfaction the achievements of his innovative program known as the Reagan Revolution, which aimed to reinvigorate the American people and reduce their reliance upon Government.

  • Without question the finest president of the 20th Century.

  • It was also Reagan who rebuilt our military, after his predecessor had practically destroyed it through neglect.

Obama however believes in gutting it.

  • In practical terms, "Reaganomics" has to be considered one of the reasons that Reagan has come to be thoughtof as a great president. Reaganomics created an unprecedented period of economic prosperity.

It was only the Democratic-controlled congress' insistence on continuing to raise wasteful government spending beyond the means that even this economic boom would support that cut sort the prosperity that Reaganomics brought.

  • This man was the last true President we had. God Bless you Ronald Reagan.

  • @marcs100 excellent post marcs100, you hit it right on the head.

  • A great Commander-in-Chief is someone who actually cares about the people under their command, and it's written all over their face when they give a speech. Ron Paul is the only guy I get this sense from today.

  • Brilliant speech

  • nice job on the video- good edit with some of the best from that day:)

  • YES, lets not forget what these " boys " gave us; their lives and our freedom.

Lets not waste it again on another ideology just as bad, just as evil and just as dangerous. ISLAM IS OUR NEXT ENEMY !

  • @Tralgit Amen to that friend

  • Every president since him, has paled in comparison. I loved the man, respected the man and will always miss the man.

  • God, I miss the Gipper. Instead of this current Marxist loser we have now, bowing to other leaders and apologizing for America, this was when we had a REAL president, a great American. God bless President Reagan, and may God bless the United States of America.

  • @tc1631 God Bless you! But we will get another Regan and until then God shall watch over us and the American people will stand strong as we always have. And I believe it is commy leader. =) Remember green is the new red.

  • This was a President. This was a man with faith, a patriot, a leader. Look at what we have now. In a word...Pathetic.

  • If you get depressed with the current lack of leadership in the country, you can watch this video and feel better.

  • This is what a real President looks like. Notice that he is not apologizing for America, he is proud of America. He returns his salutes sharply, he reads from notecards instead of a telepromter, and his emotions are real, he actually cares for the country. I agree with jwilharm, I was in grade school during this time, and I knew he was a great man, I just didn't appreciate him enough. Life seemed better then. This guy didn't take crap from the Middle East, just ask Khadafi.

  • @73hawkdriver

Amen! I so agree. God give us another Ronald Wilson Reagan.

  • Wish he was around right now to set it straight again

  • Thank you Americans, British, French, Poles, Czech, Dutch and everybody else who took part in storming the shores and eventually setting Europe free again.

    Best. Generation. Ever.

  • Remembering some of the bravest and greatest Americans ever today, 66 years later. To the boys of Pointe Du Hoc - thank you.

  • 2012 can't come fast enough ....

  • Ironically, the only fighting that Ronald Reagan did during all of World War II was fighting his way to the bar with John Wayne during Happy Hour at the Hollywood Brown Derby.

  • the greatest generation and president reagan will never be forgottin!

  • best damn president in the world nobody else will ever be better than Ronald Reagan

  • Thank you for posting this; thank you veterans and military members. Thank you President and Mrs. Reagan.

  • My one regret in life - I never appreciated Reagan when he was President. I assumed all that followed would be like him. I now realize how wrong I was.

  • Ronald Reagan was the man!

  • @ConAlternative noboby else since

  • @MrCaptainBlack1 that is so true. reagan was out last and only real america loving president. Great post.

  • We will always remember, we will always be proud, and we will never forget.......

Thank you WW2 veterans, and thank you President Reagan for describing it so beautifully.............

  • Man do I miss this President compared to the POS we have now

  • @bigkeys72: The video is supposed to commemorate the sacrifices of veterans. Reagan never saw combat, you dumb f**k.

  • @majesticlizard Reagan was assigned by the Army to make War Films,DUMB-A**! It all depended on the local Draft Board, what you were assigned to do,where you were assigned.Except for the 101st and 82nd Airborne to parachute out of planes. That was volountary.Everyone else was assigned.Joe Kennedy, Jr was in the European Theater;JFK in the Pacific-the same with Hollywood! Tell me: have YOU EVER SEEN COMBAT!?Uninformed people like you are a waste of time.POTUS we have now has NEVER been in uniform!!

  • Any other talking points you want to get out of the way there, bhaskie? C'mon, you can do it. Make Howard Zinn proud.

  • And which of these talking points were factually WRONG?

  • This is humbling

  • Ronald Reagan the man could speak genuinely - with respect for those who gave their lives. We will always remember.

  • And Ronald Reagan honored his fellow countrymen. Those brave men answered the call and though terrified of what they might encounter, stood tall and defeated a terrible tyrant.
