why is it that people like us (you and me, for I do agree) do not get heard? Because we do not have the polish. PLEASE redo this video. You make MANY excellent points but the ones that need to hear it will not continue to watch if you have awkward pauses and mumble. If you could just rehearse a tad more and speak more clearly and with confidence! PLEASE. Blessed Be~*
Nice description of what I've thought about the US system (although I'm an outsider from Austria - no we don't have kangaroos). We have a proportional representation voting system (which hopefully is the translation of "Verhältniswahlrecht"). If we had the same voting system as in the US, I would feel cheated after every election, because I support small parties (actually for tolerant and rational persons, as I would describe myself, imho there is only one you can go for).
Sadly we got an great coalition (means the two largest parties work together) after the last elections and they even got a two-third majority which makes them able to change the constitution. Guess what they are talking about: making the voting system more like that in the US.
Hmm, while you seem a pleasant man, the idea that you can just calmly assert via a logical fallacy that our leaders are the equivalent to a dictator, and have no one even question your logic is just sad. There is just so much wrong with your train of thought, that the 500 character limit isn't enough to rebut. I'll put a vid up sometime later.
wow! really interesting points! I did vote the heart route as the strategic route wouldn't have made any difference anyway, but have gotten a ton of feedback on this topic which has helped a lot for future decisions. thanks so much for sharing this!

Good points. I made a video called Vote Third Party that tackles this issue as well.
