One of the few shows my older brother and I agreed on! They don't run this and other programs on tv the way they do 'Honeymooners', 'Odd Couple', etc. Wonder why?
In the late 1950's and early 1960's we would vist my grandmother in Brooklyn, it looked just like these movies. The very old brownstones, the allyways, everything was old.
These came on on a saturday i think, it was ''east side comedy'' in the 1960's , I dont know why they arent on tv anymore, it made for a nice relaxing afternoon movie.

The picture quality of these trailers is better than the surviving prints of the actual films.

The East Side Kids were the greatest !! Me & my friends molded our group around them.

The East Side kids were great! I watched them all the time growing up. Muggs and Glimpy and the gang were great.

In NY they were on Channel 5 at around 11Am on Sunday mornings. Right after they showed an Abott & Costello movie.
