FYI to the commenters, I think Makyura was mostly banned cuz of an infinite combo, even tho it was kinda hard to set up. Harder than a Butterfly combo anyway. Makyura + Call of the Haunted + Chick the Yellow.

The first is to get all 5 pieces of Exodia.

The second requires a really stupid opponent. First, they have to make their LP lower than yours (such as with Upstart Goblin). Then they have to inflict a single instance of Effect Damage that is higher than their LP but lower than yours. After you take damage, summon Gorz the Emissary of Darkness from your hand and use its second effect.

it's because of that dark monster he sacrificed earlier. If that monster is in graveyard you can use trap card right away without using set mode. And thus, enables him to use it when it's his opponent's turn by chaining i think.
