This works great to set an account up, but it will not accept payment from a non UK credit card. I bought a UK gift voucher, so fingers crossed that will be the last step. Thanks

@Socks170 Make sure you type in the exact details of your credit card correctly. Check with your bank to see if your credit card is ok. If you credit card is fine, and you are sure you entered the exact details on iTunes and it still didn't work, then I would recommend just contacting Apple to see why they won't accept your card.

when I click the create an account, it always error. it says "We could not complete your itunes store request. an unknown error occurred (-9812). there was an error in the iTunes store. please try again later." I tried and tried again it always error! HEELLPP MEEE!!!! please. =)

No this video is not old, and the method still works to date on iTunes 9. However this method only works with UK iTunes accounts! If you are suing it for a US iTUnes account, then it will not work for you.

If you are using this method to make a US iTunes account, then you'll find it wont work at all. However, if you use it to make a UK iTunes account it will work and you will get a none option.
