If they ever play near you, you MUST see them live. I saw them once and it was just one of the most overall joyous atmospheres I've ever been in. They blew up a bunch of balloons (with air, not helium) and threw them out into the audience before they started, and the audience kept the balloons shooting around overhead throughout the entire show. It made the whole thing feel like one big, joyous birthday party for everyone regardless of whether it was their birthday or not. It was so fun!

Yellowcard (emopop) were never indie. Plus, they suck because they lyrics are mopey and shallow. I'd say it's a fair bet that any of the indie you've actually heard of pails in comparison to the stuff you'll never even try.
