I suspect that the agent you play as in crackdown 1 actually shoots the narrator, but as he is agency top brass, they can probably clone him which is why he's in crackdown 2. Then from there it's not hard to assume that the agent you play as in crackdown 1 is killed somehow. And of course he can't come back to life because the agency controls the cloning technology and doesn't want him back.

It's not that I'm some sort of a maniac, it's just Eb Games had it on the floor the Friday before it was released, so I bought one before they realized their mistake. If you didn't know Ruffian games is the result of Microsoft not giving realtime a green light on crackdown 2. Realtime held out for a bit in hopes, but then started another project. The Devoted started ruffian just for CD2.

Crackdown was much better than I expected. I'm glad I beat the game lol. Now I'll go on time trial mode to beat my score against the bosses. Maybe I should get some achievements aswell.
The ending could have been better though. But atleast Pacific Cities civilians are safe xD

at the end of crack down two yea you get ride of the freak virus an thourn is in heli copter and hots the core but the new agent jumps at heli his hand ripped off and thourne is in her lab and has the agent hand and makes a cell agent thats the end i dont know hows good and hows bad and thourne used to work for the agency and got firec and set up a sign that says free vaccions and gives them the freak virus (Zombie virus) and i dont know what happens to the narrator thogh (sorry for bad english)

i think that DLC for Crackdown 2 you should play as this agent in a war Vs the agency and find out the agencys plan for world domination and finding the Narrator at last wouldn't that be great huh?

I suspect that the agent you play as in crackdown 1 actually shoots the narrator, but as he is agency top brass, they can probably clone him which is why he's in crackdown 2. Then from there it's not hard to assume that the agent you play as in crackdown 1 is killed somehow. And of course he can't come back to life because the agency controls the cloning technology and doesn't want him back.

Ok this is to clarify things for some people. Basically, you defeated the gangs and restored peace to pacific city. When he said who supported the gangs meant that The Agency gave the the 3 gangs all the weapons and everything they needed to take over the city and they wanted you to take them over. Because they wanted the people to bow down to the Agency so that they gain enough support to make even more agents to begin the Pacific City Expansion plan to takeover the world. Thats it.

so pretty much the agency's plan was to create gangs, screw them and wipe them out, then have the people trust the agency. this would have worked if dr. baltazar didnt jizz everywhere. but if the agency hired the gangs including shi-gen and baltazar, then why would they have the freaks break out and fuck the whole city up? this leads to the second game. after cleaning the city full of freaks, i guess the agency can continue its plan to take over the world?

@eaglesfan424 probably and easter egg. Realtime worlds (before splitting into ruffian games) had plan for crackdown to be a long running franchise and probably have the simple plots for the first five games already laid out. The guys really love their game. Hence Ruffian.
If you didn't know Ruffian games is the result of Microsoft not giving realtime a green light on crackdown 2. Realtime held out for a bit in hopes, but then started another project. The Devoted started ruffian just for CD2.
