  • "The Merry-Go-Round Broke Down" was first used as the series' theme music in late 1937, coinciding with the "golden era" of Bob Clampett's Porky cartoons (1937-'40).

  • 4:35, That early intro sounds like ice-cream truck music. lol! The tempo is slower than that of when they used it for Porky Pig's intro. :-)

  • 29:21 is the best one, it's much more looney and tuney

  • I liked the 40's better than the 60's, it's too dark and not kid friendly

  • 36:41 whoa... a looney tunes cartoon that uses the merrie meloides outro... i've never seen THAT happen O_o

  • Was Porky's Bear Facts the first Looney Tune to use the faster 1941 theme? It certainly seems like it.

    Joe Glow, the Firefly used a newly recorded version which didn't make it for the next one.
