Keef really has lost his ability to play solo's they seem to get weirder and weirder and all those boring slurs.
This is a very poor performance I think when you compare it to the one he played with the Winos some 12 years ago. I know his arthritis is a very limiting factor for his play and to me he's still rocking ole grand-dad who I like to meet and play a few tunes with.
sloppy?? idk. I think of the lyrics. he talks about a life that sounds out of control without a sense of securtity......(havn't we all been there). the song is based on "emotion" and not structure and therefore and the song should never sound the same everytime. Any keith fan would know that keith is has tones of emotion and mick brings the stucture.
Montrose did the difinitive version of this song 35 yrs ago. I've seen the Stones 5 times but never heard them sing it live. Pretty crude but very cool.
Haha, shows Keith is still human!

Keith said this was his most favorite least known Stones song. I have no idea why. Even the regular version sucks.

I just love it that they play something from Between the Button, well done boys (and yes this one sounds terrible, but what the fuck).

Wow that was pretty sloppy.. Keith forgot a whole verse.. But hey the stones are supposed to be ragged, thats part of the appeal!
Paulcarr87 4 years ago
This song is meant to be sloppy! Dirty riff and usual Keith's vocal made it fantastic ;)
Anyway, you can't say that few mistakes make show worse - it's atmosphere! :)
