I feel the ending is not only based on what happened in the second war, some images resemble the invasion to Afganisthan and Iraq, especially the victims mutilated and the children crying

anybody thougt about how similar eureka seven is to the world war 2 and Hitler's rise and fall? If you look at this video you can se they even painted a little child Hitler at the end of the film (1:19) hehe

@MoveToThisBeat yea, and in the series itself the vodorac still are like the jewish, and the sages are like the germany before the world war 2 and the colonel Dewey comes and takes over to obliterate the vodorak, their beliefs and the planet itself, similar to Hitler when he took over the power over the German government to create the Third Reich, wich can also be called a new world order. And the Gekko is like the US who stopped all the maddnes and slaghter of vodorak and so on,

@MoveToThisBeat I think the whole eureka series is build around what happend during the world war 2 and with Hitler but from the director and creators point of view, as if they believed Hitler really was the second Antichrist and the whole thing has with religion to do also. I mean The scubs are very similar to gods
