So far I am not impressed. I hope the rest of the album is better..... This is really amateur compared to their last album. The last album may have been cheesy but in terms of creativeness and instrumental prowess it was great. This is just boring and repetitive. Everyone is still tearing it up instrumentally but it just doesn't mesh. There is no wow factor.
@danophile07 its not tremelo picking its alternate picking. and its actually similar to bark at the moon. there is no way in hell this is metal though. this is post hardcore with a better guitarist.
@rmarino4471 so many riffs use that technique especialy in the 80's listen to queen of the reich, or dont talk to strangers, or freewheel burning, or we could be together by loudness, they all use that technique supose youd compare all those to bark at the moon just because you heards that song first, this is neo 80's hair metal with some modern hardcore drumming it even has an 80's styled metal scream, why dont you compare a load of their songs from pedal to jump since they have synths

@danophile07 randy rhoads wasn't hair metal while he was with ozzy first of all, and kirk hammet can write music. i dont know if you've heard malmsteens albums. its work with arpeggios is very impressive but in reality he's just a shredder. you have to have both. the bands i named in comparison to this shit whether metallica sold out or not is so far superior its fucking stupid. my friend sent me this link. im gonna revoke his man card when i see him
@rmarino4471 wasnt talkin about randy rhoads, was talkin about albums aroudn the ultimate sin era between 85 and 89, ofcourse theres people like you here that have to yuin metal music accept that its a versatile genre and guess what hair metal made it as famous as it is, even gave it a dark side, with bands like wasp and early motley crue, and youd call malmsteen a shredder just because he plays fast but his style is actually very intelligent and technical in all that speed he invented that
