  • this movement is dreadfully beautiful but i must say beethoven must have been one sad git.!!! i mean who writes music this depressing? flipppin hell

  • @mohaa279 What you find "depressing" others might describe as "tender," "sad," "sweet," uplifting, etc. I dare say in my youth I found music like this depressing; and as I came to experience the pain and tragedy of life, I eventually moved passed it; and I could then appreciate artists who have the capacity to feel both, great joy and sorrow. Many recognize these last pieces as Beethoven's greatest triumphs... overcoming deafness to find a peace and splendor unknown to most mortals.

  • @tyerr9 How does it sound like? What instrument was it written for?

  • This is just a farewell

  • es muss sein!

  • @milan1car

    ja, es muss sein!

Have you read "The Unbearable Lightness of Being", by Milan Kundera?

    Glorious music.

  • Yes, i have, great novel.

  • Wonderful, thankyou.

  • very very beautifulllll...i dont have words

  • I just have to cry, sorry.

  • @himitsunosallychan Why must people apologize for weeping in response to such music? Please don't. Most of the world knows nothing of this music, which transcends existence. Peace.

  • @hermanzoon That is very true - Mahler's third is one perfect example for me and ironically (in this case) for me, has the same (or similar) notes in its opening bars of the final movement as this piece.

  • @loganswell i think you are right,. the opening bars are very similar to Mahler's 3rd. He must have been inspired by this quartet.

oh well who wasnt inspired by Beethoven?

just incrediible range of music. incredible.
