Secondly, the cop didn't mean to grab his gun. Him clearly showing remorse over shooting his gun proves that. Regardless, just like a civilian would be charged with an accidental shooting, so was this cop. This cop was convicted of involuntary manslaughter.

Despite what happened, & though the demon who killed Mr. Grant is walking away free, cooperate with police & then just pray to a higher power that you don't get hurt or killed. That is all u can do.
The only way to change the crappy system is good behavior & get involved in government at all levels, write polite letters to politicians, etc. And look at Chris Rock's how "How to not get your ass kicked" by police, etc. It is really a very serious video and will help us.

There is 1 theory that says mehserle, the "officer" who killed, was brainwashed to kill. If that's the case, then all US citizens or anyone who encounters a brainwashed police is in big trouble & there is nothing anyone can do.

Secondly, the cop didn't mean to grab his gun. Him clearly showing remorse over shooting his gun proves that. Regardless, just like a civilian would be charged with an accidental shooting, so was this cop. This cop was convicted of involuntary manslaughter.

It's sad that it happened and I don't condone it, but as I said to somebody else, when you engage in this activity, expect any outcome, either from an armed civilian or a cop. This cop was made an example of. He served prison time for it and lost his job. It's hard to see in this video if the cop decided about it. It's also hard to see that this man actually wasn't cuffed. The cop also showed physical and verbal remorse for what he had done.

I have yet to find a youtube video that has clear enough audio to hear it, but it was heard in court. All the wtinesses, including Grant's own friends on the platform, testified that Mehserle said it and Grant responded as he did.
