@saqima69 On you computer use the DivX Video Player or VLC media Player or an authorized divx player such as the LG Blueray home theatre, Playstation3, Galaxy Tab or a Phillip's DVD player with the DivX codec.
So does this software transcode the imported videos? I have a few videos that are XVid and I want to put them on a disc with a front menu. Will this do it without transcoding? Because the last thing I want is the videos being converted to the inferior DivX from the superior Xvid.
@CrankCase08 DivX Author will only re-encode to the divx format. For a better quality video, play around with the bitrate and the Rate control values. TMPGEnc will allow you to re-encode to several formats, including xvid, and the look and process is almost the same.
@grayfox196 I have no idea, the original audio was replaced by YouTube. YouTube advise me no to use copyrighted material and replaced the original soundtrack with one from their library of copyright free music.
@apsonman Thanks man! the tutorial has been extremely helpful. Do you know if i can save the output of the video in 1080 HD though? is that even possible?
when i add subtitles they dont show up...any help?

what about multiple subtitle streams? i.e. subtitles on two separate cds. Is there a possibility to do that with divx author ?
