  • Hey man, when changing to 3th gear the car kinda bumps and stutters...i have that with almost all the gears but worse...did u fixed it?

  • mein keilriemen muss nach dem datum her gewechselt werden. entweder bei 180 tkm oder im august 2010, der is bj 96. sollte ich lieber solche aktionen nicht durchziehen? 6000 umdrehungen etc.ich mach sowas natürlich wenn dann nur wenn er schon 10 minuten, also warm gelaufen is.

  • @eniman123 schau ihn dir mal an, ist er rissig oder porös? dann raus damit, sieht er top aus, brauchste keine bedenken zu haben. ein riss ist aber auch nicht so schlimm, gut die lichmaschine fällt aus und du kommst dann nicht mehr so weit :)

    1. hab den typischen b säulenriss links und rechts

    2. vorne am rad am tragenden teil rostets auch - ist aber noch nicht durch

    3. mein dach ist alt und porös = undicht (momentan ist es dicht aber ich muss mindestens einmal im monat nen neuen flicken rauf machen) achja - habn corsa cabrio ;)

    4. für mindestens 400 den riemen wechseln - ganz schön teuer ich mein der hat mich vor einem jahr 800 € gekostet^^ und jetzt zahnriemen wechsel für 400^^ ?!

  • @eniman123 machs selber :) Hol dir das Buch So-wirds-gemacht für Corsa B, brauchst dann nur noch zahnriemensatz und werkzeug. denn nach 'nem riss sinds keine 400 ois mehr, da gehts in die tausende. sprich totalschaden :)

  • Considerando i 60cv...e che è un 1.4 non male... anche se da un 1.4 ci si aspetta molta più potenza.

  • Qui si parla di accelerazione... cosa centra la ripresa? e in entrambi i casi il 1.4 seppur sottodimensionato ha un po piu di coppia rispetto al 1.2 fiat...

  • Sì scusami ho confuso la ripresa con l'accelerazione... Beh quello che volevo dire è che la mia Punto rispetto a questa macchina va di più.

  • punto mk1 o mk2? se la mk2 dubito che stacchi un 13 sec circa nello 0-100

  • Una mk2 del 2003. Ti dico che la casa da lo 0-100 in 14,3 secondi, ma facendo un test l'ho portata sotto i 13 (12.5 o qualcosa del genere) con delle cambiate a 6.200 giri circa.

    Poi c'è anche da mettere in conto che la mia ha meno di 75000 km, e questa ne ha oltre 140000.

  • Permettimi di dissentire. gia 14,5 secondi sono un difficile da raggiungere dato la mole della vettura e il motore strozzato dalle normative euro. quel risultato è molto piu ad appannaggio della 1.2 16v infatti la casa dichiara 155 km/h e 14,5 sec per la 8v e 172 km/h e 11,4 sec per la 16v con cambio normale. inoltre se l'8v ha la potenza a 5000 giri cambiando a 6200 ci perdi solo tempo inutile. Tanto rumore e l'auto non si muove. Penso che hai sbagliato di parecchio a prendere i tempi..

  • Può darsi tutto, non voglio darti contro perché non ho la certezza dei dati... Comunque ho notato che cambiando prima la macchina tende ad avere una perdita di potenza, poi magari sbaglio eh, non sono un pilota :)

  • Permettimi un consiglio. é buona regola cambiare sempre a regime di potenza massima o subito dopo... tipo 5500 max.. mai sotto i 5000 (nel tuo caso) perche andare oltre non ha senso perchè non c'è piu potenza sufficiente.

  • Sì sì questo lo capisco anche io. Ma siccome la Punto è dotata di rapporti abbastanza lunghi pensavo che scannare un po' avrebbe aiutato a farla andare un po' più veloce, non so se mi spiego... Cioè io pensavo: la tiro tanto così appena cambio marcia sono già quasi al regime di potenza massimo, ma probabilmente ho pensato male xD

  • Beh diciamo che stiracchiare ogni tanto l'auto va bene ma non ci devi sempre campare nella zona rossa del contagiri :-D Per il discorso del cambio marcia successivo prossimo alla potenza max ci puo stare purche non vai troppo oltre la potenza max a 5000 perche il tempo che perdi dopo i 5000 poiche la potenza cala vistosamente non appaga il recupero al cambio successivo di marcia anche se stai piu vicino alla potenza max. :-)

    Sì son d'accordo sul fatto che ogni tanto l'auto bisogna stiracchiarla... Comunque se non hai niente da fare guardati il mio video del Maserati, quella sì che è una macchina da scannare, altro che la Punto o la Corsa xD

  • Concordo anche la mia fiesta beve come un pozzo se la scanno... ovvio sono "macchinette" in confronto a vere AUTO :-)

  • I have the corsa 1.4 16 valves that have 90ps, i din't spot any diference in the aceleration until it reaches 110 kph, from that point youre car went real slow, maybe you have reach an uphill or someting. But from 60ps to 90ps the diference was almost nothing and that intrigates me.

  • thats were petrol heads begin to realise that horsepower is nothing unless you have torque. thats why i love my diesel.....294 lb.ft at the wheel right under my foot in first gear.. :-)

  • ahh, that maybe, but once im upto speed, like on the motorway about 50 mph and in 4th gear, anything that tries to overtake me.....i've tried it and enjoyed it, the torque from it when a put my foot down does make it hard for other cars to overtake me.....oohh like the renault clio's, toyota yaris sport..... lol i just love it!

  • Hah, mine gos fast like yours, but sounds even beter! Cause i have take the air intake manifold off betwen carburetor and air-filter housing ;-), sounds great! I have no fear for anny damages, caus my corsa has 218,000km! ...and still runs fine:-)and i think it will until 300,000km :-)

  • You could have 12s if you would warm up the engine before the test...

  • The engine was warm, the thermometer isn't realy accurate. I drove 20km before I fasten the camera.

  • I see (sorry I did not read the whole discussion before). Maybe there is something wrong with the engine or clutch. My friend's Corsa 1.4i Swing did 100km/h in 12 sec. Anyway, this car is OK for move A->B, but not for race, so we should not expect top results. ;)

  • official announcement for 0-100: 15s. There was nothing wrong with engine or clutch. In the Corsa exists two different speedometer, one eletrical (0-200) or mechanical (20-200). The mechanical is more unexact and show less speed than the electrical :)

  • my corsa 1.6 y faster tan that....and I haven´t tuned it.. so... that's all you can do??

  • hrhr, faster with 1.6 is no problem. this car had an 1.4 8V engine

  • In my experience, i have drove a few corsas , a 1.0 3 cylinder , 1.2 16v and a 1.2 8v

    1.0 = Don't even go there! Seriously

    1.2 16v = Better at acceleration and fuel

    1.2 8v = More Torque + pull than 16 v though after 70mph its slow to accelerate.

    Thats my discovery. I prefer my 8v 1.2 :-)

  • i agree with the maker of this film i have a corsa sport 1.4i sport and that car can run 80 km/h in 2nd gear and the only thing i mod is the air filter i have an open air filter directly on the blok but that don`t make any difference

  • hmm yeh it is a bit dead thinking about it, i've just got a 1.4 corsa 1998, and i can get 100mph (160.93km) rougthly.

  • for a 1st car thats pretty cool and there really old i think thats good and 0-60s pretty good.

  • that thing will go faster if you dont let the rpms drop so low between gears, when i do that, i'm in and out of neutral so fast, i dont take my foot of the accelerator, so that split second of neutral is a time window for to build up the revs, for the next gear.trust me it works. thats why i can get 0-60 MPH in about 9 seconds on my 1.2, call me bullshitting, but i know what i see.

  • I don't want to destroy the clutch, the rpms are right to clutch in. If I want to get faster from 0-100 I'll buy a faster car.

    Da hatte ich schon geschrieben, dass das Opel Thermometer nach dem Wind geht. Hab vorher schon 30 km zurückgelegt, Motor war warm genug. War nur kurz aus, um Kamera zu befestigen :)
