Hey guys I'm 12 (just turned) and I'm going to HOB right now but kids make fun of me and insult me.I've been depressed for a week but when I entered Mary immaculate school i felt so calm and happy. Everyone there is nice.so I'm leaving HOB (middle school ) and going to Mary immaculate. I'm really nerves because I don't know any one there.also I'm writing this on my new iPod with FaceTime!
We just have to respect whatever we believe for all leads to Lord our Savior..We dont have to make an issue cause its true Mother Mary have been the Mother of our Lord Jesus..Just remember God is good and we dont have to quarrel at something cause faith we'll be gone soon as well as everything but Love will remain and thats what we should do Love one another as God Loves us..I hope im making sense..!!

As I read some of the many uninformed comments, a person could become one of two things. 1 is to become angry that so many people spread misguided information about the very church Jesus Christ established based on their own ignorance, or 2 feel sorry for them as they simply cannot take their blinders off to see the truth of the gospel from the proper context that has been around for more than 2000 yrs. In this case, Ill choose the 2nd option & pray that the fools repent of their misinformation.
Nowhere does the Bible says Mary was sinless or the exception to sin passed on from each generation. For such a miraculous event the Bible surely would have spoken to this issue. Catholics do not find this doctrine from the context of Scripture but from making a pretext out of the Scripture from their Church tradition (which happens to be written down). But again it is not apostolic tradition.
Jesus is the ONLY way to an eternity in Heaven. He is the Truth, the WAY and the LIFE. Mary is NOT. Do not be fooled. Mary did not die on the cross, did she? Jesus is THE Intercessor because He shed His blood. Mary did not DIE for your SINS, did she??? Shame you are fooled. Read the Bible, Hebrews.

Catholics see Mary as being handpicked by God to be the New Testament Ark of the Covenant, the Mother of God who was always full of grace, the New Eve (who reversed Eve's action), a Woman Clothed with the sun who fights satan, and Our Mother. Yes, Mary is the first person in the New Testament to rejoice in God her saviour - before Christ is even born. Make of that what you will. Had God already saved her? I think so - but it's not a fundamental issue for me.

I did not claim and Catholics do not believe that Christ was sinless because the Blessed Virgin was sinless. Mary did not have to be sinless - for Christ to be sinless - but the fact was that she was.

The Bible nowhere instructs believers in Christ to pray to anyone other than God. The Bible nowhere encourages, or even mentions, believers asking individuals in heaven for their prayers.
First Timothy 2:5 "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus."
As Catholics we believe everything 1 Timothy says, there is only one mediator between God and man, and it is our Lord Jesus Christ. However, we ask the multitude praying in heaven who are prasying before the lamb (see Revelation) to pray for us, just as I would ask you to pray for me. The Bible tells us that Jesus Christ Himself is interceding for us before the Father: "Therefore He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him, because He always lives to intercede for them" (Hebrews 7:25) With Jesus Himself interceding for us, why would we need Mary or the saints to intercede for us? Whom would God listen to more closely than His Son?

(1) The Apostle Paul asks other Christians to pray for him in Ephesians 6:19. Many Scriptures describe believers praying for one another (2 Corinthians 1:11; Ephesians 1:16; Philippians 1:19; 2 Timothy 1:3). The Bible nowhere mentions anyone asking for someone in heaven to pray for him.
Remember ONE Thing!!! Mother Mary love Her Son, Jesus very much & She loves mankind very much & She always pray for everyone; no matter who you are, catholics, protestant, jew, muslim..etc. Lord Jesus honors Her Mother. Therefore, we honor Her. End of discussion. Peace.

Nowhere does the Bible says Mary was sinless or the exception to sin passed on from each generation. For such a miraculous event the Bible surely would have spoken to this issue. Catholics do not find this doctrine from the context of Scripture but from making a pretext out of the Scripture from their Church tradition (which happens to be written down). But again it is not apostolic tradition.

And as for who was first to know that God would become flesh and trust in Him? I believe it would of had to have been Isaiah since he was the one to prophecy about Christ. Mary believed that Christ was her Messiah hundreds of years after Isaiah.

You are right in that adelphos does mean brother - however - that doesnt mean (unless the Bible contradicts itself) thats it meant they were Jesus' own brothers and not cousins.
Eg James and Joseph - described adelphoi in Matt 13:55-56 suddenly become in Matt 27:56: "Among them [at the cross] were Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of James and Joseph, and the mother of the sons of Zebedee."

Really ? If you did read what I wrote... In Matt 13:55-56 James and Joseph are adelphoi of Jesus. Later in Matt Matt 27:56 James and Joseph are sons of Mary - the sister of the Blessed Virgin (who has already been listed separately in the preceding verse)..

(1) The Apostle Paul asks other Christians to pray for him in Ephesians 6:19. The Bible nowhere mentions anyone asking for someone in heaven to pray for him.

Mary has the option to say yes or no because she has also freewill. freewill is a gift from God whom God cannot touch for He doesn't want to force us to love or obey his statutes. In the literal sense she gave us Jesus for it was she who gave birth to the Saviour. It was, indeed, the plan of God to send His only begotten-son to save us. However, we cannot deny the extraordinary role of Mary in the economy of our salvation. we do not praise Mary but venerate her.

Personally im gald to be out of this discussion as this does nothing to bring glory to Father. My compassion goes out to any non-believers who happened to read these posts.

remain the same. I personally, don't take noncatholics seriously, but in the beginning
it was more interesting. We are human and we are at times emotional. If
