@lotteboyhk Usually, I (playing the second guitar), try to capo the guitar to play a different set of chords (although still in the same key). This gives a fuller sound to the song.

For the plucking, take note of the beat of the song and pluck according to what sounds best to you.

Also, try to play non-standard chords which sound different (e.g. A2 instead of A major)

@erudite83 thanks for the encouragement! oh, actually, the original writer Mark McMillan uses "sloppy wet kiss". Thought i would follow that cause he's the original writer =) David Crowder Band changed it to "unforeseen kiss". Guess it sounds less offensive? heh

Question though, I just got another guitarist. Is there any way you can post something to help out with what a backup or electric guitar should play? I know that's getting into music theory, but for instance, what is the second guitar playing here? He looks like he's on the same capo... is he just picking? And how does he know which chords to play?

The 2nd guitarist's part is separated by the word "OR".
