  • This is bullshit. Totally wrong chord voicings, you piece of shit head.

  • you SUCK, real way??? fuck that

  • hahaha sorry man but if you really want to put a video on the internet saying "this is the REAL way of playing rope" judging many others wrong, at least do it on the real way!! that's the minimum i expected when i saw the title; you're playing WRONG from the moment you don't do EXACTLY what they do, including same speed on the riff. I'm not a critic, i'm just saying that you're playing WRONG as many other videos you've seeing; knowing how to play a song doesn't mean playing it correctly!

  • wroooong. Chorus: Em7, Bm, A5, G5

  • @skatelife1913 Chorus starts on a G. Then Em7, then Bm, then A5. That's what I played.

  • @rocknroll21 oh yeah my bad then dude, sorry. but good job though

  • @skatelife1913 thanks!

  • dude you play that cool riff way to fast and your also playing it wrong even for the part you are playing

  • You're a twat. Grohl is king

  • You want the real way, watch Dave Grohl playing it, simple as that.

  • @Kingddd333 watched the video of them playing it live on letterman and followed what dave grohl was doing

  • @rocknroll21 It looks like how he was playing it, just sometimes it seemed a bit off. Like the beginning chords sounded too bassy or something.

  • @Kingddd333 It might have been my amp settings. I like having a decent amount of bass dialed in on the amp so maybe it was a bit bassy. But as far as chords and finger placement, I'm pretty sure that's how he does it at the beginning

  • I can play better then you

  • Wrong and it sounds sloppy.

  • Wrong way dude unless u were only playing one of the guitars because there r 3 guitars in this song

  • @jojojonah1212 Yeah this is just one of the guitar parts

  • real way to play rope my ass!!!!

  • I'm using a Vox VT100 in the video. As for the settings, I used an 80s rock setting I think (a more crunch sounding distortion versus a more modern scooped sound). For treble/mid/bass settings (each out of 10), treble and bass were at around a 6 and the mid was closer to 8. Hope that helps!

  • nice! and dude... what are your amp settings? and what kind of amp are you using?

  • Thank you dude!

  • Nice Gibson

  • Thanks for 1:00, that was the only part that bothers me.

  • Haha "the chorus is a G"!
