I decided to comment before the song ended, well before reading any comments, and I only wanted to talk about the song and the video. I'm waffling, but I really want to make it clear and to not offend anyone. Some of the comments here are just as moving as the video.

Really really minor quibble: when his lips started quivering at 1:59 I thought that was a tad over the top, and it sorta snapped me back into reality that I was just watching an actor.

@Mathoman10 Sux so bad when u lose ur mum at dad at 13 or 14 - its the worst thing ever - you lose ur guide in life - and everyone else doesnt give a shit - they act like they do for 3 days - but 3 months later they are like "Why are you still sad?" And 20 years later it still affects you - and they whinge to you how bad it is their parents got divorced! I mean at least they can still see their parents!

But my advice to you is think a lot about your dad - in 15 years you will be glad u remeber

I lost my Nana a year ago it was sudden and very unexpected she went in for surgery and the next day she was up and walking around ready to go home the next day and the next day came and she never woke up. :( it was unexpected and no one even knew it was coming she was 71 years old and I never got to tell her that I loved her .
