  • how far does it launch a tennis ball

  • are you ever going to fire the catapult

  • @KidsCanRock1 yup, complete tutorial for this on my website. Just search for wyvern catapult or catapult crazy.

  • Could you use metal instead of wood to make this thing DEADLY! Not really, how about using extra wood planks along the bottom so that you can tension the string a bit more.

  • @nikulp68 sure, these are both great ideas!

  • You know what's unfair? Lady Gaga's Bad Romance has 350 million views, and your videos only have a couple hundred thousand :(

  • @koolmoedee95 Thanks! I will keep making the best videos I can. tell your friends! LOts more great projects coming but I am definitely not going to make a meat dress!! lol

  • @epicfantasy Yeah I'm actually gonna be building this for my semester construction project. I'll be sure and tell everyone where I got the design from! lol

  • you should wrap a layer of twine/rope (for cushion) around the impact points of the arm and beam.

  • lol at first I thought it looked small.... that is until you showed up to test it.:))

  • I once built a torsion catapult with lego, then tried to shoot a marble with it. The marble flew through my room, but the force tore the catapult apart :\

  • Torsion Catapults rule! I remember building a tiny one when I was a kid and it would launch a projectile at least fifty feet.

  • like it(i dont know if your into it, but you could make a...gun????) its a noice catapult, that would get a very nice momentum going.
