Thank goodness I read about how to kill the final boss as if I didn't do it and played it out like the rest of the game I never would have beat him. I didn't realize we couldn't damage him unless we got the crit hits when he picked us up. There is no way I would have thought to let him pick me up although there were messages hinting at it. Still without the walkthrough I saw to confirm that I would have been afraid to let that beast do that. lol
