  • I saw this film when it came out I was 12 or thirteen. It inspired me too. In large part I am who I am now because of Thor Heyerdal. I don't think I shall ever forget how he captured my imagination. I sent him a birthday letter once and he wrote back to me personally. Somehow I have lost the card he sent me but I will never forget this great man.

  • I remember watching this amazing doco when it first came out and how it inspired me to lead a life of adventure.
