  • its all just for show now, they arent active since Hawaii became a state. But they still recruit the "best of the best" for their Faux Royal Guards Performance which shows every day at 6pm with the changing of the flag. (kinda cool!)

  • You are correct. The guards haven't been active since America illegally overthrew our monarchy in 1893.
