need help here...when i go on full throttle my savage doesnt move at all in terrain (only does on a flat area but very slowly accelerates) even though it looks like its going as fast as it can...also when i break, the engine shuts off...pls help me ppl

im not sure, i dont own the savage that long..

but i had the same problem and i needed to adjust the low speed needle (the needle at that purple thing) so good luck and hope it helps!

Urm, you could do, but they are realy fast and there torque is just amazing, my savage x 4.6 pulls wheelies on half trottel, full trottel its on its roof. if you want a fast truck what you want to bash around doin jumps and stuff then get a hpi savage x 4.6 or a 3.5, but if you want the truck to go on tracks get the traxxas t maxx 3.3 the tmaxx has a push button start on it insted of glowplugs and rotostarts. Have fun drodenbar :D

nitro can be a pain in the ass for a first RC...it can be more expensive to get into, but i can guartntee if you start electric off road, you will switch to nitro offroad in a year or two, for basher, i would go savage durable as anything, for racing, i would go traxxas revo lower center of gravity, BUT it is a daintier of a truck, depends on your application.
