Who are you God I asked in prayer on my knees, crying as a child . Then God said Who are you I dont know You.,He Taught (Me) Humility he also showed me this 1 Corinthians 13 and 1 John 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
love2 - This is exactly the kind of love I have. There is nothing boastful about me. I'm very humble.
I care for people when they call for my help. Love IS me. Don't believe whatever havock tells you. He has ultimately failed to realise that he and I are really the same....we just use different words. In spirit we are probably very similar.
Only dif is I see no need for effort in the mystical realm. Meditation is the way.
Meditation is sitting in an unmoving position and thinking about nothing, repeating a meaningless sound. It comes from the hindu guru's and tibetan masters who teach that reality is an illusion. Meditation of this sort is to divorce yourself from reality, and so meditation is the best way to achieve non-being; the annahilation of the self; nirvana. Take your pick, I dont want any of it thanks. God made me a rational thinking human being for a reason. thats the way he wants us to be.
Christianity has been going for 2,000+ years. Judaism which is was based on has been going for a further 3,500 years before that. I see no reason to call it dangerous. The church and judaism has contributed more to humanity than anything else in existence. The entire western civilisation and all its prosperity and the freedoms you enjoy is based upon it.
Dangerous? I dont think so. Makes-you-squirm-uncomfortably-in-your-seat? Far more likely.
Technically, western civilization and all of its 'freedoms' are based on the concept of Democracy, which began in ancient Greece, which was not a Christian state.
You would be suprise how many people use the term technically, when they are actually not being technical at all.
Christianity saw the knowledge of the ancient world and especially greece as being incomplete, inspired but deeply flawed. Christianity took the truth of its theology, applied it to every element in the world and so improved it immesurably in some cases. The church brought the pagan world to fuitition. Greece's democracy does not bear much resemblence to that of today, thankfully.
I suppose I should have said "actually" because what I said was what "actually" happened. You're right that Greece's democracy bears little resemblance to today's democracy, but even the founding fathers of what would become the first modern democracy put together in the US included many non-Christians: Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Paine, John Adams, James Madison, Alexander Hamilton, among others. Christianity alone cannot begin to claim credit for it.
Well I would say where it cannot claim total ownership of democracy, Christianity never wanted to.. But it was the cornerstone that led to the revision of democracy and human right and equality. Without christianity, we would still be left with the warped and pathetic version of democracy, no free market, no human rights, no universal human dignity. So overall christianity through the church has had the greatest single positive influence in the world and throughout time.
Dont forget the man who wrote this, Saul of Tarsus experienced God who identified himself as being the person Christ Jesus, and the church is his body.
The response to this love was to expend the rest of his life travelling and suffering in reciprocation of this love he was infused with through that beatific vision.
7fruitt is not love. Christ Jesus is the only person who IS love. 7fruitt puts no effort into the expression of love. look how much effort Saul put into it.
you people need to study all bibles and find out that the NIV does not have all verses like the KJV! please dont be fooled and study all cause it is critical not to go out with fasting and prayer! That is what i found wrong with the NIV! GOD said damn is the one who puts or takes away his word! so if u study and put all together then you have LOVE!
There's something about Johnny Cash covering U2 that's just awesome...
But... NIV, NASB, Holman, hell, pretty much any other translation would be better. I'm not a big KJV fan. It's great for a lot of 'shock value' in the translations it uses, but thats it. IMHO
You could be right. This translation is actually good for reading. But not for study. Doesn't mean one should stay away from it. It's great for reading. Some people can relate to the language better, which just gets them in the door to when they pick up a real study bible.

7- Well so you say.
I am listening to what havock has to say. Have you some kind of issue with this?
I don't know whether efforts are required or not. That's what I am trying to find out.
Maybe you are love, I don't know. All I can do is go with what my heart and my reason tells me.
At present havock has my respect. With you I feel I need to be on my guard for some reason. I cannot rule out the possibility that you are satanic.

By th way love2, if you keep sending these videos to try to convince me havock is right, you're barking up the wrong tree.
I've looked into all this kind of thing and havock is absolutely unequivocally and dangerously wrong!

7- It's not to convince you. I just wanted to see your reaction.
