The slickest quickest most economical jumper you will ever see. He jumps fences like their hurdles. a most underrated chaser who could have won 3 straight gold cups. He would have been a match for best mate all day long.He carried a massive weight in the national later only to be brought down at the canal turn 2nd time when looking likely to figure.WATCH THEVIDEO OF HIM IN THE BOXING DAY BIG CHASE AT KEMPTON when he was only 5 in 1991.Top top drawer chaser of the modern era. MANY THANKS for post
Sweet Memories - I was all over The Fellow after his good run in the racing post chase carrying top weight - told all my mates too - Soooooo deserved to win a gold cup - He was Class.
Top class vids,i was 14 when this took place,my two mates were racing fanatics as well, which made us pretty unique,my mate suggested The Fellow and i laughed at him,as i thought it would be a straight fight between Jodami and Barton Bank,(who got injured in the week prior to this?) il never forget the smug look on his face,"told ye" he said, git. my other mate was a Young Hustler fan ,who fair play, ran his career best race,i still think Barton Bank wouldve hammered this lot,if he got round safe.
