  • Mr. Threadgill was such a sweetheart. He used to play at the Split Rail in Austin on Wednesday nights in the '70's. I was a waitress there and dated his drummer, David Apke, for a while.

  • when was this doc. made?i just caught the last 15 min. on austin community television.

  • Surfed on to this and as fine a rendition of Waiting On A Train as I coulda ever hoped to hear. Threadgill sang Happy Birthday to my wife at his old place (back before the remodel). What a great ole bird - and such a warm spirit. Thanks kindly for this project.

  • Just pure quality, I love it, stunning, beautiful footage, brilliantly put together, I love it thank you so much.
