I already have morphwhiz, but I like the keys being there for more control. So do I understand correctly that you can upload your own samples? or are they preloaded?

@caseyctg There are 43 preloaded presets, but you can also record and load your own samples. Recording can be done through the internal microphone or a line in (including USB), and your can load wav, mp3, aiff, and m4a (unprotected) from email or through iTunes file sharing. To load through iTunes file sharing, connect your device to your computer, open iTunes, click on the device, click on the Apps tab, and scroll to the bottom and select SampleWiz. You'll see a window for adding files.

@kevinchartier Thx Kevin. I purchased the app, its killer. I've already begun sampling bug noises in the park to add in to some of our musical sets. I love Jordan's stuff just because it reminds me so much of myself and what I hope to pursue as a musician. I love the tech side of things and am a web developer, so this sort of UI functionality is right up my alley. GREAT APP JORDAN!!

@JCRUDESS just got into the app tonight.....wow I am under some kind of hypnosis here! I didn't even realize I was under this spell until I saw a man in a magic hat with crazy eyes come from within the app to bring me back into reality. I literally have been sampling everything just to zone out on it. This is pretty great stuff. I had to force close my iPad just to cut myself away. Jordan, I hope you read this message. I cannot record a new sample. This may be caused by iOS 5 installed on my iPad. Can you please tell us something more or explain?

@RevStudios I'll install iOS 5 on one of my iPads today. It's quite possible that there are still some issues with audio on iOS 5. Do you have GarageBand on your iPad? Can you record with the sampler in it? We're using an audio configuration that is quite similar to GarageBand.

I'm the one who responds to the support emails for SampleWiz. If you could visit the support page and send an email to the address listed there, we can talk more about this and I'll get a fix to you as soon as possible.

SampleWiz is a Universal iOS application. It runs iOS 4.0 and higher on the 3rd- and 4th-generation iPod touch, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPad, and iPad 2. It does not run on the 1st- or 2nd-generation iPod touch, original iPhone, or iPhone 3G. SampleWiz requires iOS 4.0 or higher.
