This is a system of collecting money of Sega that does the appearance of the game.
Until the establishment of a system that surely wrings money from the player by every singe play, there is No singe reason for SEGA to make PC version.
Sega is not going to shoot themselves in the foot by making a console or PC version, as they own a lot of game centres in Japan and coupled with the profit sharing revenue of other game centres.
The game costs more that twice as much as the US minimum wage to play. (15 USD per hour + buy equipment and parts) =P
Ringedge console sounds like a load of rubbish to me. It's just a arcade system using PC components at this point.
border break so thats what it is called looks awesome. wish they would bring it to the uk on the xbox 360 or even better a new sega console lol if only then they would have focus again and be bringing out more great games like this and like they did for the saturn and dreamcast
@cyphi1@JayOsWorld I've heard the rumors. The Ring-Edge system was announced as being an arcade platform, which would link Sega's proprietary arcade systems together allowing users to play with or against each other over the Sega's Ring-Edge network. Sounds like a great new technology and a way to revive arcades in America, but I don't think Sega has the money to fight Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo in console wars. While I'm skeptical I am curious about the Sega patents for new controllers.
@Fawk2099 due to the fall of arcades in the US and how US arcades (or what's left of them.) don't demand most arcades games that come out. Companies have no pressure/urge to push their games into a market that won't make them much money.
And yeah, only chance we could even slightly have in getting this game guys, harras the living hell out of Sega. As I did last year, I hear by renew my request to the lot of ya to do just that.
Throw up the comments like wild, in caps if need be. Cruise control the cool in demanding this game from SEGA.
It is Japan only. That's why I wanted the lot of you to get riled up and plaster youtube senseless with comments for them to bring it to the USA and then some. Message Sega on their youtube account, yell on text comments and then some for them to bring it beyond japan, cruise control the caps if you have too.
Lets get back to reminding them we all want it and we're going to try and get it the only way we know how. Packing their in boxes and feed back with how we want Border Break.
@Bangcat haha i playd it its like counter-strike and uum ya its for japan only and u need a card to do it its not a arcade battle its a card and caracter battle u buy your own card umm like 300yen so if u dont have a card u can play it but u cant save youir caracter
@kenjiathome I'm aware of how the game works as well as character cards. Tekken has a simmaer card system. And yes I'm the one who put up its japan only so I very much know it is, sadly. I will say I know about such things, but as well know enough of how to make use of japanese games because I've been importing games as far back as the Sega Saturn, lad.
I'm also writing this comment from my job as we speak. I've been an arcade manager for 10 years now.
The Ring Edge board will not go on sale this year in Japan. The board will be released in Q1 2010 and the console version of the hardware in Spring 2010 in Japan and late summer in the U.S. Ring Wide will go on sale in December however.
Not sure about you all but I'm joining this SEGA channel and throwing up how we want this game in comments and planing to throw mails at Sega's channel mail here at Youtube. Anyone with me? Lets toss Sega some mail and tell em we WANT this game.
Wish they make this MMO Shooting, for PC
