  • I've allways loved Lyn Paul, thought she was the best, but didn't know this song, now played it for at least 50 times, and still love it!!

  • i'll help you out songbirdsinging, the video is abba, song is been sung by lyn paul, from the new seeker's...that's why it's out of sync..abba is not singing that song..abba never even sang that.

  • I never understand these videos. They are out of synch for a start and I am at a loss to understand the Abba bit..

  • why abba?

  • Why Not?

  • just wondered why not lyn paul thats all,

  • Oh right, well there isn't or wasnt many videos of Lynn Paul around that I could use, on the other hand there isnt any new abba music videos forthcoming just thought it would be fun.

Which has all been explained in some of my previous videos.

  • i was brought up in the seventies, i loved the new seekers and abba, its just nice to trawl through to hear their music again.thanks for doing it

  • I was brought up in the 70s too it was a great era for music, middle of the road etc and tv "withinn these walls" , you could even play on the streets.

  • googie withers, sunday nights yeh i remember it too. too scared to let my kids play in the street anymore. they missed out on fun times and good music

  • It was on Friday if I remember rightly, the dvd is out now series 1 and its cheap, you should get it its such a laugh.

  • thanks ill keep my eye out for that. The New Seekers always remind me of kissing a boy behind the caravan on holiday in 1972, i was 7...lol

  • You little Minx..Lol.

  • hearing her voice again gves me goose pimples

  • Thank you for that didnt realise she had a new one out, I shall definately be going out to buy it.

  • lyn paul is great, Her new c d is to die for

  • I have tried to get her cd but been unable to can you help please jeff

  • in fact it was lyn's entry in a song for europe in 1977---she came 6

  • The United Kingdom held a national preselection to choose the song that would go to the Eurovision Song Contest 1977. It was held on March 9, 1977 at the New London Theatre and presented by Terry Wogan. Due to industrial action, the contest was broadcast on BBC Radio 2 only.

Lynsey de Paul and Mike Moran won the contest with the song Rock Bottom. They went on to represent the UK in that year's Eurovision Song Contest, in which they came second.

  • This song was not a New Seekers recording but was recorded by Lyn Paul after she left the New Seekers!

  • Your absolutely right it was recorded by Lyn Paul of the New Seekers fame, it was on my best of the new seekers cd, hence the confusion.
