Waseleski here from 4th PLT WOLFPACK, is this Scouten's video? haha this shit sucked ass i remember it, but they didn't go into later details of our training like the ruck march and shit, this was just the beginning. FTX3 was a blast!
i went through this about 2 moths before they did... it sucked, but was kinda fun. the monkeybars are bull shit, they rotate on you so its hard to hold on.
@Runaholism Heh there were people who were more than capable of climbing it, we just didn't want to waste time because we had so much practice in doing push ups, that it was the most logical way to get through that part the quickest. You had to make 3 "attempts" to climb the rope before getting on your face for 15 pushups.
@nzulaski Good luck man! If you're going to Benning, you'll hate the heat lol But it's all fun down there as long as you listen to your drill sergeants and do good with PT. They've changed a lot since I've been there so from what I'm hearing, it'll be a a little better, as in, what they teach you.

Seems like the folks who can't climb the rope has to do push-ups....which I personally find it easier and quicker to do. :)
