    he is using 2-sided tape

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    you should
    use scotch tape
    to tape your paper to the table or a piece of wood/cardboard
    that way when you are done you let it dry
    and it will stay straight :)
  • NICE!
  • hot edges .
  • I'm so glad I stayed with this video instead of prejudging the technique, which is sooooo easy for us artists to do when we are taken out of our comfort zone and introduced to something new. This is so Zenlike inits approach and simplicity! I can't wait to try it!
  • I think his approach is great for a beginner like myself who is so accustomed to drawing tight specific detailed linework in pen and ink and pencil. I can see how ths method would instantly tae me out of my comfort zone and FORCE me to flow and go with the process.
  • does anyone know what liquid paints he is using?
  • AMAZING!
  • Very nice demonstration and interesting what can be done when you open yourself to experimentation with watercolor.
  • I took a five day workshop from him a few years back & did some of my best work. Besides being a wonderful teacher, he is an absolutely delightful man with a dry subtle sense of humor.
  • Wow, I have NEVER seen anyone use watercolors like you do! You are FAST, and fun, and fascinating, and messy, but wow, amazing work~~~~ and you make it look so easy! I am going to subscribe. Thanks so much!
  • what a good Technique !
  • god that looks amazing :D
  • great video, thank you for posting
  • i love it
  • @helpfoals
    I personally love 90 lb rough, because 90 lb paper, when properly stretched, dries quickly and lays flat, allowing you to work faster. 140 lb paper dries slowly & that wastes time. 300 lb paper is thick, but too expensive. One more thing: the colour on thinner paper looks brighter because it does not sink as deep as in heavyweight paper tissue. You use less pigment, less water, work faster and achieve same result as with more expensive papers & more paint. Few will tell you that ..
  • p.s. i am trying this! :]
  • ahhhh idk why i find his voice so soothing hahahaha
  • @yoOitsdiana creepy jk lol
    "use the finga" was a high light
