I love what babycat said about Bette. It's exactly how I feel about Bette Davis as an actress. When she is on the screen I can't take my eyes off of her, especially in her earlier films like Dangerous. There is absolutely no other actor; male or female that has that kind of power over me. It's intoxicating. Hands (and cigarettes ) down, the greatest acting talent I've ever seen on the silver screen. The Beatles song : HONEY PIE is my personal Bette song.

If you want good movies then see anything with Bette Davis in it. Even her old movies though cheapies are good acting by her anyway. Your club sounds wonderful. I have always had a love for the older movies..."I wiped my mouth , wiped my mouth !" Only Bette could do those lines.....................

i know she didnt win as many oscars as ingrid bergman and ofcourse katharine hepburn, but to me bette davis is the greatest actress that ever lived. shes indescribable, now voyager is my fav of her films, and i love her bitchyness in all about eve

Absolutely Brilliant, I love Bette Davis. My favourite actress without a doubt. Over the past 3 days, I watched about 8 Bette Davis pictures. I just couldn't get enough. All About Eve is the best movie ever. Bette Davis - Prodigy.
