i have a problem with my ps3 .. um randomly whn i sign in to playstation network im jus playing and talking to friends . resently its been logging me off atomaticly , ex it would say ERRO you been logged of playstation network. um i use wirless internet but when that happens i still have internet conection. um it just loggs me of randomly. i looked up this problem on google and it says i need to update my frimweare but when i clicked on system updaes it said i already have the 3.00 help?

That's funny because when I update and it starts to get towards the end it speeds up really fast. Example, when it gets to 70% it finishes. Completely opposite from yours. I have the 60gb.

It really comes down to your enernet connection. I have a very fast Internet connection and it downloads very fast and my friends not as fast as mine. It's not the console it's your Internet connection.

i updated mine then it got fucked up it might not be related but my freaking fan is like in highspeed all the time after i quit a game while on the xmb and the fan doesnt even go to silent mode. damn i even wipe my ps3 once twice a week and its even on a well ventilated space damn good thing there's a price cut.

As soon as the update got installed...i was able to sign in into PSN, that was last night though, right now is working just fine, and after downloading the update last night, i played some COD5 and it seems to run more smoothley than it usually does...it just seems that this update made everything run much more smoothley!!!

Don't you just love that? I remember times when 250kb/s were mindboggling (luckily I'm not old enough to ever have suffered the dreadful 56kb/s era) ... Now 1mb is pretty much the standard.

this updates horrible, all they have done is make everything larger and put stupid boxes around your friends list to make it harder to read in my opinion. the only good thing about it, is that the battery does not cover the clock anymore.

Dude, you didn't show the friends list, that was one HUGE disapointment for me with the whole bulky gray texture.. ugh.. looks horrible, I hope Sony does a fix on this like some kind of patch or an option where you can disable to the old version of how the friends list used to look.
