  • This is the goods. An entirely different ball game then doing a set then sitting on your arse for a couple of minutes before doing another one like 97 percent of the guys that work out on the commercial gym. The beauty of this is, not only is this a metobolic demon, and increases work capacity as well as overall fitness, but you will certainly still be able to produce strong singles and low rep days should you want to complement that as well.

  • The thing I really don't get with these barbell routines, good and tiring is they may be, is that there is so much more stress put on your upper body than lower. Not just the amount of exercises, but a 50kg push press and a 50kg squat are very different things......

  • different methods of working out call different exercises by different names.... cross fit calls this an upright row where bodybuilders might call it bent over rows... no one is wrong or right... just names. and considering this is done with super light weight as a WARM UP which most bodybuilders or cross fitters don't do they shouldn't talk so much trash!

This guy does more in a month than you will do in your entire life. Why don't you do this workout then run 8 miles with him? Then swim with him....and then tell him about his form.

  • I did the same routine for Rugby and MMA and it got me in some pretty good shape. So I aint gonna say anything BAD about this routine.

  • if you use smaller plates, you can get more range of motion on your deadlift.

  • Awesome complex! I use similar complexes for volume lifting and crossfit. Third movement is actually a hang squat clean, which is great for grip strength.

  • @Valholm well, SSG kicked Seals ass in military competition held in the US. and, to think of that US marines has like 2 months education is making me laugh. our rangers has atleast 15 months and much harder training, not to mention how hard it is to even get to be a ranger. so yeah, I our conscripts are more badass than this clown. he would probably cry of sleeping in the snow when its -40 degrees and dont know how to cut meat from whatever he must eat.

But we were not talking about marines, who are in no case should be considered anything special, you said that this retired SEAL officer is a clown and claimed that you have information on SSG giving it to the US Navy during some exercises that they recently had. I know this is youtube.. but.. any proof for your words?

  • @Valholm hmm, I have looked into alittle bit but I cant seem to find it, its a military competition in wich all the fields are about war-like situations...I cant say that they recently won though I read that for like 2 or 3 years ago and I dont think that the us army is getting better by time. Why I think that dude is a clown, is cus our conscriptors for rangers are way better trained than him : ) Imagen yourself walking in 1meter snow with 80 kilos of gears and still be able to fight swiftly.

  • @Valholm They survive in the thundra below -50 degrees without any attachment to a base, they ski or walk for mile after mile, practice emprisonment with a hood over their head standing and lissteing to wierd shit for around 20 hours, they hunt and eat what the can find... and they are just our conscriptors as said before, then you can imagen SSG. : )

  • @Valholm I was trained as a closedefence troop. we got more weapons than any other military unit, myself having both m249 and m/48 carlgustav. the only system we lacked were heavy mg and our 2 sniper rifles. : ) and no, still, our basic soldier training is 2½ months, thereafter you have special training for atleast 5 months. unless you are in the military orchestra or something xD

    I was comparing Swedish conscripts rangers to SSG. since rangers are weak again SSG. thats all : )

  • You can use youtube to find out proper form for each individual movement/lift. Youtube has been instrumental in helping me with form and workout ideas. Just my 2 cents ...
