Federer has played for 10 yrs- Rafa 6. However, if you compare both their records on those first 6 yrs, Rafa has a better record. He also is a true King of a surfac while Fed being excellent doesn't dominates either surface so completely as Nadal does. So don't be afraid of saying it- Rafael Nadal is the one. Being rank No1 or No2 isn't not as important unless you can keep your rank. Both Fed and Nadal have kept theirs for yrs. Viva the best!
